Fire stone, water stone, thunder stone, leaf stone, moon stone, and the everstone. (if you are wondering why I did the everstone – I needed something to make it an even number for tumblr posting haha)
Wanted a fun lil project to tinker with here and there this week and this is what I decided on! Not sure when I’ll do the others… but I do plan on it!
Designs are inspired by how they appear in the anime.

seeing a lot of posts condemning “pussy grabs back” as cissexist and although i would agree that it is not the perfect “women’s march” slogan by any means i would urge you all to keep in mind that it is a direct response to trump’s violent statement and therefore makes sense as a phrase of political retaliation …..like obviously there should be many other myriad phrases and slogans for protesting that aren’t as exclusionary but i don’t think we should be shaming those who wielded “pussy grabs back” signs today since those signs are in active & necessary conversation with sexually violent remarks made by our president and the people wielding those signs are absolutely at liberty to respond directly in that way. anyways perhaps try to have some nuance in your thought today folks
yes yes yes. we need to remember: not all women have vaginas, and not all people who have vaginas are women, but all vaginas are a probable site of violence, and as such they have a place in the conversation.
This. Also keep in mind that reproductive rights was also a big issue, which might have caused people to carry signs with uteruses/vaginas, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
There’s nothing inherently transphobic about women talking about their own genitalia and reproductive rights, and it’s possible to talk about and fight transphobia without condemning people for fighting for their own rights.
There is also a very ugly political implication in telling people with vaginas and uteruses not to talk about them, considering that politicians have been punished for even saying the word “vagina” during debates about reproductive health bills.
Yes. The possession of a vagina/uterus is inherently politicized and policed: there’s nothing wrong with stating and acknowledging that, and fighting for the rights of those who possess them. There is a LOT of highly specific oppressive shit that hits people who have vaginas/uteruses. And those people are not all cis women–anyone with a vagina also has to deal with this shit! This fighting *needs* to be done in a way that does not equate “woman” with “vagina,” but it CAN be done, and it SHOULD be done.
This is so important - we can’t compare trauma experiences, it is all valid. Even two people who go through the same trauma can react differently.
Now this is a metaphor I get.
I really appreciate all the gentiles reblogging my post about Richard Spencer’s antisemitic tweet, but I’m seeing a lot of comments like “Antisemitism is back!” And “I never thought I’d see Nazism again” and “haven’t people learned from the Holocaust?” And while I can understand how shocking it must be if you were truly unaware of this, but please just know that Jewish people have been keenly aware of antisemitism in the US, and many of us will tell you it never went away. So if you’re reacting to this with shock, then I ask two things of you:
A.) Please follow Jewish bloggers. Many of us routinely post about antisemitism, and you’re more likely to see it if you follow us. I can provide recommendations if anyone wants them.
B.) Please be aware that we don’t see antisemitism solely from Nazis; there’s a lot of antisemitism on the left as well that is arguably much more difficult to address. Please make an effort to learn about it and combat it even within your own circles.

The Indiana state legislature is considering an authoritarian bill that would essentially allow police to kill protesters with zero accountability.
Republican senator Jim Tomes introduced Senate Bill 285 in January, though it was given its first committee hearing on Wednesday. The bill authorizes city officials to use “any means necessary” to break up a group of 10 or more protesters blocking traffic, “even to the point of costing lives.”
Keep an eye on this bill. Keep an eye on it’s progress and it’s refutations and it’s inevitable day in court if it gets passed.
This is what I call a canary bill. If it passes both the legislative and judicial branches of the government, it serves as a hallmark on how far gone we are. If it passes the state and is deemed constitutional by the Supreme Court, then we have passed a point from which we cannot return.
Do not forget about this, please.
