I'm not going to make any comment on whether you should see the movie. it looks like it falls into a lot of the hollywoodism of the medieval period and takes a very complex situation and makes it more black and white.

but it is interesting they chose this specific event considering the revolt was a failure that resulted in the death of thousands of peasants.

its also interesting seeing the historiography of the event shift from "this was a bad thing done by a bunch of greedy bumpkins" prior to the 18th century to it being inspirational for revolution after the 18th century.

Jesus Christ I remember when my friend got the first colour laser printer in the group. The rest of us all had tractor fed dot matrix printers. We spent about 3 hours selecting a picture to print, and then gathered around to watch it very slowly, bit by bit, emerge. It took about 10 minutes to print the one single 8.5x11 sheet.
