My family and I found this lil guy soaked in the rain last week. We immediately reported a missing dog to the neighbourhood security and kept him outside, under our roofed garage, so that in case his owner came looking for him, they’d easily spot him. A day passed, but no one had come for him. He didn’t seem to be in the best condition — his nails were awfully long and grimy, he suffered from a cold (probably from being out in typhoon weather for who knows how long), and he had a terrible cough. So, we took him to the vet, got him examined, bought him medicine for his cold and cough — we even got him dewormed, just in case. The vet said that he was — to everyone’s surprise — about 7 years old, and that he had an enlarged heart, which is common for small dogs.

In the week that we’ve had him, we’ve already grown terribly attached. In the case that we find his owner, we will undoubtedly return him, as sad as that’d be. But in the indefinite mean time, I shall name him Peeploup, and his shall be my peeploup.
