The rain fell hard in this small town, unfortunately for Ring she didn’t bring an umbrella. So there she is, standing underneath a store’s roof as she watches the rain.

A soft boom was suddenly heard and Ring flinched. It was hard to admit, but she isn’t a fan of thunderstorms. ’Lui-kun… I wish you were here…’

The sound of the door opening startled her and she hold back in a gasp. She smiled sheepishly towards them.

"Ah, it’s raining rather bad, isn’t it?" At least she isn’t alone anymore.

Ah, thunder! It was something that fascinated her to no end. Most people thought of her weird for liking ‘bad’ weather more so than sunny days, but it was just the way she was. Weird, of course!

Hearing the boom of the thunder, Yukari chuckled and headed towards the nearest store so she could get her biscuits. After doing so, she walked to a place where she wouldn’t get soaked by the rain. There seemed to be someone already occupying the room.

Gently knocking on the door before entering, she looked around. There was a young girl inside, who looked around her own age. Seeing her flinch at the sound of the thunder showed that it really wasn’t hard to guess that she didn’t like it.

“I suppose so, yes. But are you alright? You look a little faint.”

A look of confusion crossed Yukari’s face as she looked at his puzzled expression, why did he look so shocked? Maybe it was because her response wasn’t expected? Ah, did most of the Vocaloids think there was something wrong with her? If they did, well— that would be completely horrible. Was that the real truth behind their ‘fake’ smiles?

A bad feeling washed over her as she watched him type. Hopefully this wasn’t going to be anything bad. However he was designed to be…what was it, twelve years old? So hopefully it’d be fine. A look to the phone was all she needed for another smile to be planted on her face. “Of course I do! How could I not? Today was meant to be a fun day, a time where she got to talk to her best friend freely for the whole night and have lots of fun. Yes, Ri-chan was staying over at her house, but… Yukari wasn’t really feeling the whole ‘let’s have a great time!’ kind of thing. Instead, her mind was fixated on negative thoughts which would clearly bring her mood down.

Of all times for such a feeling to come, it just had to be when she was having a sleepover. Great, this night would be very fun. For now, she would just have to act like nothing was bothering her. But then again, Aria could always see right through her; and that would lead to a problem.

All Yukari could do was try to get rid of her bad feelings. It wasn’t hard, right? Just gotta replace ‘em with happy thoughts! Since IA was staying over, then why not think of the fond memories that the two had? Maybe that would work, aha… maybe not. The thing is, Yukari came into the Vocaloid business herself, and she came first. After all, wasn’t she the one who told 1st Place about her?

No, she couldn’t be judging her /best friend/ on her status as a singer. Yes, Yukari did come first and yes Aria is more popular. She shouldn’t be jealous! More like proud, yes… She should be proud of her.

But when the very person was in the next room, brushing her teeth for the night… It was hard not to have a look of sadness, irritation, or even worse… anger on her face. It was bad, she couldn’t be holding a grudge on IA. It wasn’t right to do something like that, she needed to stop caring about status,’ it wouldn’t help or even change a thing.

If only she could stop caring.

The blonde stood next to the lavender haired girl, she passed by her a couple of times so far but has not had the chance to talk to her. She did not have the chance to talk to many of the new Vocaloids- her nervousness did not help, but for some reason seeing her look at her work made her slightly more confidential the approach.

The photos displayed on the wall were all of the bustling city, the quality was very high and there was the occasional familiar faces in some of them, the colours and contrast could take ones breath away, most of them were just landscape a bit repetitive some would say but all the beautiful. Why the studio would hang them up is beyond thought, pity? perhaps but maybe for aesthetic look; that’s what Rin liked to believe.

She turned to the lavender haired girl, a brief moment; thinking of somethingt to say, but also admiring her outfit. Lucky present Vocaloids…they get all the cool clothes, and what am I? A bloody sailor or somethin.

Yukari had been walking around all day, with nothing specific to do. Everything was just boring, so why couldn’t she go over and talk to the blonde female? Yukari hadn’t really conversed with her before, so it would be interesting to find out what her personality is like. Hopefully it was a good one, and with the amount of fans she has… her personality probably was beautiful.

Her mouth took the shape of an ‘o’ as she gazed upon all the wondrous paintings before her. Apparently these were all by Rin Kagamine herself? Now to have the skill to paint /and/ sing, she was definitely a very well-versed lady. Though Yukari herself was very fond of the piano and singing, she didn’t think her skills could match up to the other. Of course they wouldn’t, she’s from Crypton. One of the big stars, heh…

“This painting is really well done, I have to say… with a singing voice like that but also the gift of a paintbrush, you’re going to go far. I’d give my all to have such beautiful skills. You should use them wisely.”

The girl was so brightly colored that it was rather impossible for the child’s eye not to be drawn to her. For a moment, a chill runs down her spine- since her time in the gallery, bright colors always made her feel unsafe. But Ib’s safe now, so there’s no reason for her to be afraid of this girl.
