On August 5, 1943, a girl named Michelle was born in the countryside of Puerto Rico. Her parents, unbeknownst to them, were good friends of Atabey, the supreme goddess of the Taíno pantheon. In 1945, a storm killed the couple, and the goddess decided to raise the girl alongside her son Yocahú, the supreme Taíno god. Michelle grew up with her new family and among gods (specifically water ones) from different pantheons. At the age of 25, she was granted immortality and decided to explore the world, ending up in China
There she met Macaque, whom she quickly became friends with after discovering he was a friend of her family and through their shared love for theater. In the late 80’s, she met Red Son, and the two fell madly in love, but their relationship ended disastrously and Michelle returned to her island for 10 years to grieve with her family. She later returned to China and met a boy she grew attached to, helping his father in raising him
After MK becomes the Monkey King's successor, Michelle hears of her ex again, finding out he’s now an enemy of her "little brother," which only makes her anger towards him grow. But it seems Red Son can still make her heart flutter, and the same seems to happen to the demon prince
EXTRA: Michelle didn't like Wukong because of what Macaque had told her about him and because her little brother was in danger now that he had become his successor. Later, they become friends when she sees how similar they are and stops being so judgy
