Somewhere along this line, we were stripped of identity, creativity, developed this sheep mentality of following everything. Cultureless, we are entertained by senseless sitcoms and infomercials. It angers me to see a nation reduced to a full-scale game of follow-the-leader. They have us fooled, reaching for the American dream, trapped in the 9-to-5. Itās like swimming upstream. Do as they tell you. Free thought is bound to fail. We are dying, and no one seems to care, too busy rushing to a āgo-nowhereā career. Think youāre free? You just canāt see the bars. Weāre all in prison in this free country of ours. Youāre not free, you never were.
Why do we spend the best years of our lives in slavery to make ends meet for the worst? The first 55 years of our lives belong to them, when we celebrate our last dying 15, the way we should have celebrated the first 55.
Freedom doesnāt come from 9-to-5. Freedom is at our disposal. Taught how to stay in line. Taught to be content with dying.
