I am currently 17 years old that means I am in grade 11 ( sorry I don’t know what year that would be in your schools over the world ..) I go to pearson high school. I was born in Johannesburg , South Africa . Moved with my dads business to Petermaritzburg , if you dont know where that is , its like an hour away from Durban.
soo this is basically sort of my testimony or the story of my walk with god.. I was born into a christian family in , my dad was a pastor when I was tiny and both my parents used to do a lot of missionary trips around Africa. So blessed to be brought up by the of the most amazing loving parents that love god soo much. They never ever forced me to believe in god and we as a family for a long time didn’t go to church. So when I made the decision to start going to a little teenage youth of Friday nights it was never their choice or influence it was completely mine and…… their might of been a cute looking boy that made me want to go ;) but when you still young you still have a relationship with him but you have soo much to grow and learn about yourself and god and you will always be growing in god throughout your whole life , if you are not growing you will become stagment in your walk with god and life … we must always be changing and put our self into uncomfortable positions to give god opportunity to make us grow and learn. so when i was on a christian camp in my first year of big school Grade 8 god placed a very important friend in my life , i met Fritz hahaha yes that is his full name , he invited me to his youth , Summerstrand United Church ( SUC ) and this is where my whole life and walk with god changed from this youth , i found my family …i met my best friend , Janelle which i will cry for because our friendship means so much to me , so god based sister in Christ , i have soooo much love for her i cant even explain. and both my brothers ( real brothers / bloodbrothers ) are both coming to youth !!!!! I met my first love ( hahaha my love life ..wow we will save that for another time . geez ) and I know this probably doesn’t impact you guys lives a lot but i can honestly say that i know god is real because of the certain people he has placed in my life and how i wouldn’t be the person i am today if i didn’t meet those people , so when you are doubting sometimes you just have to look back and see everything from where you were and where you are now and how much has changed and how it could of been if you didn’t know god .. if you look close enough and pay close attention to the smallest details you will see god so clearly !! and i always forgets this and i question him , saying why cant i hear you god ? where are you ? but i just need to step out and look what he has done through out my life and i guarantee you will be so overwhelmed with thankfulness its crazy how much he loves us , so look back on your life and be reminded daily of how great he is .. i am going to try harder to not forget this .. cause we always get caught up in whats happening now or your future or even just get caught up in our past , let us learn to forgive what we have done cause we are forgiven in gods grace , let us not live in the future and stress out whats to come cause we have no control of that , let us live in the present time , live for god now and forever and don,t forget about what he has done for you , including most importantly giving up his one and only perfect son for us who are sinners so that we can live with him forever ..
