I saw a video today from a chronically ill woman about the fact you can feel so guilty when doing fun things.

She talks about how, as a kid, you learn to finish work before you can play and that you take this with you into adulthood. So you keep the mindset of having to finish 'have to' tasks/chores before being allowed to 'play'.

But when you're chronically ill, this is literally impossible! If you'd do that it would be all work and never play. That wouldn't be healthy at all. We need to remind ourselves of this. We don't need to feel guilty for doing something fun!

It pisses me off kinda to know that when people hear me say I love women most of the time they do not automatically include trans women in that statement.

Makes me sad. Angry. Like if I don't EMPHASIZE that I am Infact including trans woman in that statement, people will just assume I'm only into cis women....

I don't think it's fair to have to other them like that. I shouldn't have to say it separately.

If I say anything about loving women, finding women to be beautiful ect. Please know that trans women are always included in those statements.

you know how at the end of the chapter Kris and Susie put blue and yellow together in the same glass case? My favourite thing about that is that blue and yellow were not already next to each other, or on either side of flowery. They were like this.

Which means Kris and Susie made the conscious choice to put those gays together. It's be homophobic not to!

I am so tired of thinness being the standard of health. Sorry, my what? My pronouns? Oh, yeah I'm between genders at the moment. No, it's cool, I quit my last gender a little while ago because it really wasn't working out. I don't know if I even have a dream gender anymore.

Oh yeah, it did come with benefits, but they weren't really worth it. The culture was really toxic. To be honest I think I'd prefer a part-time gender so I can just be self-described in my spare time.

I mean, in a perfect world we wouldn't need gender, you know? We could just voluntarily be perceived as much as we're able, as much as makes us feel fulfilled. Having a full-time gender shouldn't be a prerequisite for food, shelter, and healthcare.
