Drawing Random Pokemon from Memory until I get bored!
This post is a bit late, since I took a vacation break for Valentine’s day, but now we’re back at it with a challenging Pokemon - Vullaby
Despite how small Vullaby is, there are a lot of details in its design that I struggled to picture. I remembered some key elements, like the small outward wings and the bottom half being a cross between a skull and an egg shell but struggled on overall proportions. I ended up redrawing and resizing the features pretty often.
And the face? I genuinely could not remember how it looked at all. I just kinda winged it, and hoped for the best - no pun intended. If I had remembered the ruffles around the neck, I think it would have pulled my design together more. Oh well.
The shiny I had a hard time picturing as well. I remembered it being kind of…sunburnt? So that’s what I went with. I didn’t realize that the feathers changed to brown either, so I kept mine the same color.
