Custom Male Cowplant

Did you know that male Laganaphyllis Simnovorii aren't as lethal as their female counterparts? You can tell them apart from the lack of udder and slightly bigger horns. Unlike females, they can't produce milk and therefore, have no reason to hunt Sims.

This custom cowplant is completely harmless to visitors and can never be milked.

Otherwise, it has all the functionality of my cowplant mod, so your sims can name it and talk with it to increase social and nature enthusiasm. It's more picky about food than its sisters are though, so the option to feed it only appears when it's hungry.

🚨 The cowplant mod is required for this cowplant to work. It's repo'd to the original cowplant and will pull all its recolors.

The file is compressed, University and Pets are required. Cataloged under general/pets for §3500. The mesh is 6467 polys and doesn't have morphs but it's hardly noticeable without the udder.

Update (22.6.2024): These cowplants can now be sold in OFB businesses. Witches talking to them have one alternative topic.

Since this cowplant lacks all that cake business, I gave it a special idle you might spot if the cowplant is outdoors, you have Seasons EP, and the weather is nice :)

Jackson Square Suit 3t2

The usual lately: converted from TS3's "Ragtime in the Big Easy" set, for teen through elder. It's a basic jacket/pants/shirt/collar, with a sweater instead of a waistcoat. It reads very Edwardian, but also very 1950s Teddy boy! They're categorized as Casual. Shoes are 4t2 Guidry ghost flats from @julietoon-ts2. Pants are a little short, so ankles are mapped to an empty part of the suit/shoes texture for socks.

Newcomb Dress 3t2

A gorgeous TS3 original from the Ragtime in the Big Easy set, enhanced with Crisps&Kerosene's SimStandardMaterial shader for reflective metallic details. The really stunning part is the low back capelet:

(Yeah, there's some very minimal clipping there.) Colors are a mix of Cluedo 1928 Palette and metals and Hafi's Skunky Palette: Skunky Garden Hedge, 1928 Miss Peach, 1928 Mr. Black, Skunky Shiitake, Skunky Blueberry, Cluedo Silver Metal, Skunky Autumn, Cluedo Gold Metal.

The coolest part, though: gold and silver have a glittery reflective base cloth when using the modified shader; without it, they're just gold and silver colored. This low-res GIF demo shows the with and without, but it's much more prominent in-game or Bodyshop:

Go download @crispsandkerosene's altered SimStandardMaterial shader if you want that effect! The other colors have the effect applied more judiciously to just the metal clasps and decorative elements. The two shader masks and shoe textures (strappy gold and silver Uberfam T-strap sandals) are packaged in the mesh so you can easily apply them to any recolors.

Formal only. Choose whether you want YAF or YAF/enabled for EF. (It doesn't have much bust definition and I figure only the most svelte of the senior ladies are choosing this open back, so I didn't make a true Elder conversion.)

Aurelia Pedal Harp for The Sims 2

NEW PLAYABLE HARP for Sims 2 (custom animation + sound)

Hello! I have finally completed this beautiful harp, and I am very excited to share it with all of you ~~ 💌 At first, I planned to make it for toddlers. Then I asked myself whether it could also work for adults — and ta-da ✨

These stunning animations come from JaneSimsten's Playable Harp mod.

This harp will increase creativity skill and music enthusiasm.

Since it was cloned from a piano, this harp includes all the interactions that a piano has: Practice, Watch, Dance, Sing Along (for pets) v.v... However, I removed the Break, Tune/Uptune, Perform interaction because I couldn't modify the accompanying sound file (perhaps belong to Band maybe)

So, this harp will have 5 interactions for you to choose, including:

Practice (Gracefully)

Wedding (A Thousand Years by HarpistKT)

Classical (Moonlight Sonata by HarpistKT)

Fantasy (Suteki Da Ne by Arnaud Bannier)

Fairytale (Merry-Go-Round of Life by harpsona)

The animation will play randomly for each piece of music.

It would be amazing if the harp strings could move when Sims play it, but I’m not good at working with joints yet, so… sorry, you guys 🥺

Each interaction will correspond to one piece of music. I don't plan to have it run through a playlist. If you want to change them, it's much easier than editing a long playlist. You just need to replace the mp3 file with the group B3CD.

Because the harp is so beautiful, I kind of got carried away and ended up making quite a lot of recolors 😅. There are 12 recolors in total, including: maple (mesh), mahogany, dark metal, deep blue, dark green, silver, ivory marble, rose gold, golden, deep red, blue-purple ombre, and baby pink (a special color made for my friend — she really loves pink 🎀).

Since the textures are 1024×1024, I didn’t merge the mesh and the recolors into a single file. If there’s any recolor you don’t like, you can safely delete it without affecting anything else.

Poly count: 8k

Note: You have to keep all mesh, recolor and sound file in the download folder to make it works well in game, if there is any problem with my cc, pls pm me :3

Thank for @jacky93sims, for helping me fix the sound file issue. Without her help, this harp would be playing piano sounds by now :D

RCs OF MACAROSSI’S ANTIQUE SET

I did a recolour exclusively for my Tumblr!!! Yaaaay!  

I’d never noticed this set by the talented and prolific Macarossi before, until I saw a TS2-TS3 conversion and a recolour.  Then I realized I actually had the dining table and mirror in my game already.  Probably acquired in one of the gajillion lots I’ve downloaded.

I did my own dark RC of the wood and metal, and a few fabric RCs.

(There’s just the one recolour of the tables and mirror)

all are shiftable if you have AL and can be intersected with other objects and persons so sims shouldn’t throw tantrums because of OMG THERE’S DAMN HUGE BUTTERFLY ON MY WAY I CAN’T PASS xD ;

all the Ha2D butterflies take textures from Butterfly 1 so you shouldn’t delete neither this object nor its recolors; Jennisims’s ones have separate textures;

I’m not so good in texturing so please make recolors! We need more butterflies!

I've been gone for a while, haven't I? I was exploring more of The Sims 4's objects and have already started some recoloring there. I've even posted some on my Patreon.

But this post is about another door recolor from the game. This time, I'm bringing you the default door for use in in-game apartments. There's nothing special about the doors, I just wanted to expand the collection I've posted here.

The doors come in five different colors and carpets matching the door colors can be changed as you wish.

Repo'd Glamour Life Recolors of the Ikea Slatthult Sticker

18 recolors to match Glamour Life floors and 8 that match metal textures I found in the game files. Preview uses my Slatthult add-on 3 which can be used to turn these into backsplashes for counters and tubs, or you could use other Slatthult meshes to use these as accent tiles on walls. They have tiny file sizes because they pull textures from the Glamour Life files

Down The Rabbit Hole - Resource "Rabbit Holes"

This set of "rabbit holes" were made in mind to help users obtain resources without having to have the resources on a lot, or visit another lot that has them. They also are intended to replicate the "rabbit hole" function of a sim "being away" but without the consequence of weird time between community and home lot, or time fast forwarding on a home lot when all sims are technically off lot.

They were made this way so that it can be played as if one sim is gone for a certain number of hours, but the rest of the household can go about their day as you play them.

They are not required for any of our other mods to function, but in contrast you require nearly ALL raw resource mods we've made to have these function fully.

THESE OBJECTS WILL NOT FUNCTION ALONE, THEY ARE NOT INTENDED FOR STANDALONE USE.

Manual - Rabbit Holes

All "hut style" rabbit holes are repo'd to BB Niche and the Forestry Biome Hut for a total of two subsets to recolor. They can be found in Hobbies > Recreation for $0.

Rabbit Holes are usable by C-E sims. Children have shorter periods of being away and "explore" to bring back various things they've stuffed in their pockets. T-E sims can forage for 4 or 8 hours for varying resources that fit the biome that the hut is meant to represent. All huts look the same (so users can decorate as they please) so make sure you read the descriptions for which one is being put down. All sims will take motive hits while "away", gain nature enthusiasm if FT is installed, and come back with a number of items from a random pool.

Rabbit Holes are split up by biomes. Each biome offers related resources, and some even offer very specific bonus gathering options.

Forestry Biome - This rabbit hole can be used to obtain various items from The Giving Tree set, Wild Berry Bushes set, Wild Mushrooms set, Firewood set, It’s A Trap! set, and The Game’s Afoot set.

River Biome - This rabbit hole can be used to obtain various items from the Gone Fishin’ 2.0 set, and gather reeds or clay specifically.

Ocean Biome - This rabbit hole can be used to obtain various items from the Gone Fishin' 2.0, as well as things like sand and brine.

Enchanted Forest Pathway - This rabbit hole is intended to supplement items that are mostly used in tea crafting, potion crafting, medicine making, and sources of more rare or magical and fantastical items one typically doesn’t find just lying about.

Injuries, Accidents, and Dangers: Halfway through any given number of hours of work, a sim has a chance for an unfortunate situation to occur which will cause them to return home without resources. The higher their proper skills, or even possessing certain traits, the lower their chance of having such a situation occur. Children who go exploring will not experience this.

Inventory Tool Navigational Compass: This item will do the usual of helping sims to do actions despite what traits they may have.

Placement & Access: Each hut only uses 1 tile for interaction, but occupies a 3x3 space. It is recommended to use BOBs or Fences to keep sims from clipping through the structure, leaving the tile where the door is clear.

hey maxis match cc people and everyone else too I separated flowers from 140 sims textures and put them all in one image grouped by color (with gaps large enough to rectangle select anything you want)

It's kinda rough, holes here and there but not visible from most angles. The outer metal part was made uclickable for a reason, otherwise it would block sofa functions.

The seat surface is higher than standard sofa, I've adjusted the slots so Sims should be pulled upwards when taking a seat. Due to some kind of random glitch (?) sometimes that might not work as it should.
