A farewell drawing for Spookslot, a ghost house attraction in the Efteling which will close this Sunday, September 4th 2022. It’s been there my whole life, I remember being super scared of watching the anamatronic show when I was little, and overcame my fear because I thought the dancing of the little walls was fun to see. I’ll miss it so much…

Since we are seeing the misadventures of merlupin im super curious about Goemon, Yata and Fujiko. Do you have any ideas or headcanons or even forms :0 one of them is fine <3 just love seeing mercontent

Goemon: Keeping him similar to the original ask where I also drew Jigen and Zeni, a dragon. A more aquatic dragon this time though. With dragons being an older species, he's of course more old fashioned. And also the only one able to properly move around on land. He refuses to carry anyone, however.

Fujiko: Squidmaid! (I like the curlyness of the design hah)

Yata: Seahorse. I like to imagine him being really small even though I drew him big here. He'd have trouble holding on to Zeni when chasing Lupin, but eventually he learns to adapt :)
