Pokémon (anime) roleswap AU where Ash is the only Legendary in existence and all of the former Legendaries are humans living in a small community driven town.
Nothing ever happens in the quite little town of Origin Halls, the stereotypical everyone-knows-everyone town nestled in the Sinnoh mountain range. That is until one night the Earth quakes, the Sea thrashes, the Sky itself rips apart as if it were fabric, houses move and clocks go wonky as though Space and Time are being thrashed by some higher being...
And the next day, the town gathers infront of the mayor's house (Arceus) to discuss last night's events. Some of the softer towns people grow concerned for the poor little orphaned Mew who had gone missing, and right after a search party is put together consisting of Zekrom, Lugia, and Zygarde as adult supervision (if you can call Zekrom adult supervision...) with multiple kids pitching in to help find their friend such as Giratina, Celebi, and the Twins (Darkrai and Cresselia, they're whatever the opposite of identical twins is)
When the search party finishes combing the town the concerned townsfolk turn their attention to the forests and fields where they quickly discover the lost Mew! Playing in a field. With a bestial thing that while monstrous, could only be described as "divine"... and it was rolling in mud with Mew now... Origin Halls will never be the same, will it..?
Or: A godly Ash has a Sonic Movie 1 crash out and accidentally starts a found family with all these wacky mortals.
