IronWidow brotp Headcanons
- Natasha and Tony have regular staring contests. Nat always wins because she gives him that sweet little shit eating grin and he rolls his eyes.
- Natasha doesn't like verbally communicating her feelings, so she occasionally draws a tiny widow mark on the gear of her friends. Tony wiped it off, thinking it was a doodle, and she didn't speak to him for a week. He now engraves a tiny widow mark on all suits, in the same spot.
- Tony and Natasha are the ultimate gift-giving champions. Natasha knows her team very well (disturbingly well) and Tony is a master of customizing things. Together she and Tony can't be stopped.
- Natasha is a notorious clothing thief. Tony once tried buying them matching shirts so that she wouldn't steal his - it didn't work, it wasn't the same.
- Rumow and Natasha had a one night stand and Tony is the only living person who knows about it; He teases her about this privately on the regular.
- Tony has banned all children's animated movies and classical music from the compound via FRIDAY, because he knows it reminds Nat of the Red Room.
- When Tony is having a panic attack, Natasha helps distract him by singing a song and making him guess the song.
- Any verbal authorization from Natasha using Tony's technology must be signed in using the name "Natalie Rushman."
- Tony kept Natalie Rushman on Stark Industry's payroll, to give Natasha a sure fallback if she ever needed it.
- Natasha dislikes Pepper, but not because she's jealous. She thinks that Pepper treats Tony poorly, and that he allows it because the people in his life have always treated him as a chore.
- Tony had an Iron Widow suit made for Natasha for the Endgame battle (THERE'S CONCEPT ART FOR IT) because he puts the people he loves in suits of armor. He was devastated that she never got to wear it.
- Natasha was Morgan Stark's godmother, and Natasha absolutely did visit Tony during the five year blip - you can't tell me that she didn't, her goal has always been to keep her family together.
- Natasha and Tony are the most in tune with current events, and they send each other tiktoks/vines/etc. during briefings. They also shamelessly send each other (and the other Avengers) Avengers Fanfiction.
- They are both more affectionate than they let on. In private, they regularly curl up together and watch movies. Tony will never let her live down the fact that her favorite movies are bad spy movies.
- Tony and Natasha are literally just human, they're both pretty regularly sore, considering their line of work. They (along with Clint) have stocked up on painkillers, heating pads, ice packs, and take care of each other after big fights. The others sometimes don't think to check in on them, so they're sure to check in on each other.
- Natasha keeps a list and will privately talk to the other Avengers when they act like Tony is still the arrogant playboy he was when he was younger, because she is proud of all of his growth and development.
- Similarly, Tony will be the first to call people out for not trusting Natasha even though she's given her entire life to SHIELD. LOOKIN AT YOU, NICK "I didn't know who to trust" FURY.
- ...But they are still both very petty individuals, so they occasionally have coffee and bitch fests, often featuring Clint Barton.
