feeling a bit defensive over my podcast men, but this is just so not true on a broad scale. there certainly are podcasts like that, but the two biggest ones i can think of off the top of my head are Modern Wisdom and Diary of a CEO

as far as Modern Wisdom goes, Chris Williamson is like the number one interviewer of interesting women on this earth. he frequently covers so many things from behavioral economics to intrasex competition, that not only apply to all women but acknowledge poorer outcomes for less attractive women

and then in DOAC, Steven Bartlett once had on a doctor to talk about fasting, and the conversation ended up veering way off, and for half the episode they ended up talking about menopause. and not long after he brought on a different doctor for the sole purpose of discussing menopause.

these women see one ragebait podcast and then decide that is what all men are talking about at all times

“there are certainly podcasts like that” ok so why’d you write that essay. the screencap is complaining about the men who do those alpha male podcasts, which are literally done earnestly and are largely not “rage bait” because surprise, misogyny exists! you guys piss me off cause literally every time feminism gets brought up like without fail someone has to say something stupid and besides the point in defense of men and it’s Downright Weird at this point. none of you are feminists if you can’t handle one critique of men’s behavior without defending men you don’t even know personally from being included in what we’re discussing
