HUGE fan of trees growing in places they should not reasonably be able to
upside down
sideways
out of a rock
upside down in a freakin LAKE
out of an Indiana courthouse
out of ANOTHER
GODDAMN
TREE
none of that is a reasonable expectation!!!
A lil practice in perspective with this piece mostly, so here's Howl and Sophie, who I designed based 50/50 on their book and movie counterparts! I actually would love to revisit this piece and paring in the future, since the book is one of my all time favs
A heart’s a heavy burden ✨

If you get this, answer w/ three random facts about yourself and send it the last five blogs in your notifs. Anon or not, doesn’t matter, let’s get to know the person behind the blog <3
1. I have heterochromia (although it's not dramatic).
2. One of the few times I've broken bones is when I accidentally kicked a brick.
3. I used to play BloonsTD obsessively as a kid and would name the monkey fighters in the game/make them backstories.

"And I'll always wonder if I really loved you or just what we could have had."
When writing always remember… a character flaw is only a flaw until becomes useful.
Is your protagonist manipulative? Well that’s awful… until they manipulate the antagonist into making a decision that saves the lives of their friends.
Is your protagonist a skeptic? Well that’s not good… until someone tries to lie to them.
Is your protagonist overprotective? That sucks… until someone they love is in danger.
Is your protagonist remorseless? Well that makes them pretty unlikeable… until a hard decision has to be made.
The flipside is also true!
Your protagonist is honest? That’s good… until their survival depends on them being able to lie convincingly.
Your protagonist is brave? That’s good… until they foolishly run headlong into danger without a thought for the consequences.
Your protagonist is forgiving and able to see good in everyone? That’s good… until they continually forgive someone who doesn’t deserve it, and get taken advantage of because they can’t fathom that some people just suck.
Your protagonist is funny? That’s good… until they piss off everyone around them because they don’t seem to be taking the situation seriously, and they keep avoiding dealing with their problems by hiding behind humor.
Most personality traits aren’t inherently good or bad. It’s all about context, and how far they go.
"I have feelings for you." "Aw." "They're all negative." "Oh."
"Give away your love, not your heart. You are not a thing to be owned."
"I would love you if I didn't know better."
"What little I have left is yours."
"They may be trash, but they're MY trash."
nobody loved me so I decided to love myself and lemme tell you everyone else was dead right I am insufferable
being worthy of love does not mean that someone is going to love you
