it's been a million years (eleven months) since I posted anything here - I'm alive and well but have been working on other projects, including a graphic novel that I think will appeal to enjoyers of Watson's Sketchbook (more information on that...later). Zine Release!

Hello everyone! It's been a while --- we've been hard at work on our discord server, making this project a true reality. And it's finally here! After months, we've got everyone's pieces in and formatted the whole zine.

This has ended up as a 100-page compilation of amazing work made by artists and writers in the Sherlock & Co fandom. This zine covers all parts of the podcast -- we have sections for each character, as well as focusing on cases, homey, and shipping!

Its artfight season and I thought a lot about my OCs recently. So I decided I could show you some of the things that inspired me

Maybe you even find something new that would interest you.

I love comics and graphic novels. These two in particular ("Shangri-La" by Mathieu Bablet and "Frontier Explore, Expand, Escape" by Guillaume Singelin) left a really big impression on me and gave me inspiration for the setting and the general vibe of my story: The hope of singular seemingly unimportant people in a seemingly doomed capitalistic society... And the artstyle and everything is just gorgeous

The indi Animation show "Atlas and the stars" wich you can watch on YouTube showed me that maybe I also could make my own thing out of my scyfi OCs one day... and that I should make my alien design more fun. The incredible game "Outer wilds" started the entire theme about a lost/ extinct alien civilization and was a great inspiration for some design ideas.

and lastly but not sooo important "Star trek" and "the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy". These really got me into science fiction and are all time favorites. Learning to see the fun and amazing possibilities space offers and sometimes taking the liberty to go a bit crazy about it. I put this star trek tech manual here because seeing all the blueprints and thinking about my story from a more technical/logical point is so interesting. And well h2g2 doesn't really show in my story but It's important to me so I put it on here as well

And last but not least I can't forget about this absolutely amazing our flag means death fanfiction ("Star Crazy"by DevilsSacramentCatering) that's set in an alternate universe: science fiction setting and rewired my brain in regards on how I think about spaceships
