Anyone can be a misogynist whether or not they grew up as a woman and whether or not they are a woman now. Trans men and trans women both experience misogyny on top of transphobia, transmisogyny, and transandrophobia. This has to be a baseline understanding we all have.

I did not know transfems could experience transandrophobia. I assume it would be when they are mistaken for trans men? Although I've never heard of that happening, id be curious to know what thats like.

Transfems and trans women can experience transandrophobia particularly if they don't want to completely ditch masculinity. Transfem butches, for example. I've seen a lot of transandrophobia come from the basis of "choosing masculinity" and/or "rejecting extreme femininity", since extreme femininity is the 'good' side and masculinity is the 'bad' side. If you reject extreme femininity then you must not be 'good', and if you choose masculinity then you're 'bad'. Even though real people are not actually black and white like that gender-wise much of the time, and gender presentation doesn't actually have moral value.

If a transfem or trans woman says they've faced transandrophobia, no decent person who believes in transandrophobia will call them wrong. Nonbinary and intersex people can get hit by it, unquestionably, so it stands to reason that some transfems and trans women can be too. It can actually get bad enough that it completely alienates them from the community that should have included them. Some take testosterone, some use he/him, some dress masculinely, some grow their facial hair, but they're still transfems/trans women. And then they get kicked away for their masculinity/lack of extreme femininity. It's sad.
