yo so i’ve noticed a lot of people confused about the Palestine Israel conflict and what zayn and harry have said about it; so i thought i’d put together a masterpost of all the times it has come up with them. feel free to let me know (nicely lol) if any of the info i have in here is wrong; but i did put a lot of research into it so i’m pretty sure it’s all right.
it started at the concert in barcelona on july 8th; when harry asked a fan to give him an inflatable hammer that had the israeli flag on it (x) and then held it up above his head for the remainder of the song
a lot of people were offended by this because of the situation over there at the moment which i’m going to try to leave out my opinion on to keep this as unbiased as possible
especially considering the fact that zayn is muslim and a lot of muslims are dying in palestine; harry got quite a bit of backlash for supposedly showing support to israel.
then on july 9th; the girls who gave harry the hammer tweeted about it; and harry’s openly pro-israel friend ben winston tweeted this (it’s now deleted).
(according to several other posts/tweets, ben winston also tweeted and deleted something in reference to the hammer about how harry “loved it”, but i can’t find that tweet. x x)
then as we know, zayn did not go to louis’ mom’s wedding on july 20th, even though he was invited (possibly unrelated)
also on july 20th, ben tweeted a link to this article supporting both israel and palestine
shortly after this tweet, harry followed the author on twitter
on july 26th, zayn deleted a drawing of harry and unfavorited a harry related tweet (among other things)
and on july 27th, zayn tweeted this in support of palestine
so yeah i think that’s basically it for anyone who was confused. and yeah that’s basically why people have a reason to believe that there is some sort of rift between zayn and harry

Right now, and recently and in the recent years there have been so many harmful pieces of legislation that have put people in the lgbtq community at risk. It’s painful for everyone, every ally, every loved one, every person in these communities and thats why I’m always posting this is when the midterms are, this is when these important key primaries are, cause we can support as much as we want during pride month, but if we’re not doing our research on these elected officials, are they advocates? are they allies? are they protectors of equality? A moot on Twitter asked me for some sources, so I decided to put them here in case it was helpful to others. I don't claim that this is all encompassing or definitive.
There isn’t only one instance of Louis alluding to being a part of the LGBTQ community. It’s repetitive and continuous across years. It’s the cumulative instances that make it definitive for me. While he has said that he’s straight a couple of times, it’s been in writing (most notable on Twitter on 11/10/14, and detailed in this article: 'F***ing ridiculous' 1D Louis in meltdown after wrongly thinking reporter called him gay - Daily Star, which was notably the day after he wore this shirt in support of Apple CEO Tim Cook and a couple days AFTER Harry Styles said "not that important" in reference to a dream date being female--there's some debate as to whether Louis was in control of his SM that day, but I digress), and he never once adequately denied being in a relationship with Harry verbally. It’s important to remember he’s closeted.
Adding a cut cause this got long.
While I personally think he’s been in a long term monogamous relationship with Harry, most of these aren’t about Larry. I think it’s important that both men stand as strong LGBTQ icons/role models apart from their connection together.
Nothing here proves anything about his sexuality or how he personally identifies. I don't claim to know how he identifies. This is simply a list of ways he seems to message that he aligns himself with the LGBTQ community. For me, it’s the cumulative moments that make it impossible to dispute. Anyone reading this is entitled to make your own opinion of what he means.

His triangle ankle tattoo, which coincidentally (or not) aligns nicely with a tweet once made by Harry Styles.
This tweet was made literally a day or two after the tattoo reveal. (as of 1/16/23 that tweet is still live on Twitter, screen shot taken by me).

Over the weekend I was asked by a friend to help find some sources for a paper they were writing about the idea that Harry is queer baiting his fans. My friend was looking for instances where Harry has "come out" over the years.
Obviously, he hasn't really. He's still very much closeted with a large fan base who believes he's dated only women. It goes without saying that I believe he's been in a long term monogamous relationship with Louis Tomlinson since the early 2010s. This list is NOT about Larry though.
