Introduction

My names Kyo and I'm part of The Multiverse Collective ( @your-friendly-multiverse ). I'm a protector, host, anger holder, and avenger plus other roles. I'm masc leaning apagender and use he/it pronouns. I'm an ageslider (15-18) but don't treat me like a kid. It drives me up the wall.

I'm into reality shifting. My main dr's are a Creepypasta x Marble hornets cross over and The Walking Dead. I also share a supernatural dr with Jinx and Taiyo.

no dni. I block at will but I am pro-endo, anti-radqueer, anti-contact, pro-para*, anti-transID** and neutral ship so take that as you will.

there is NOTHING that pisses me off more than when i was first being introduced to politics by my parents and i was only being shown their beliefs, they praised me for having my own opinions. but the second i was exposed to more beliefs and opinions, i was suddenly being brainwashed and wasn’t thinking for myself anymore because i no longer held the same opinions they did. i wasn’t thinking for myself when you shoved me into an echo chamber and told me it was free thinking.

i hate how both sides worship their politicians. i fully believe that 99% of politicians any higher than mayor aren’t doing things for the good of the people. any runner from president/congress/house has dirt on their hands whether it’s easy to see or not.

we should be having limits on immigration and we should be having SOME deportation. for violent criminals but they should get a fair trial. any other people who came here illegally should be given the chance to apply for citizenship that doesn’t cost thousands of dollars or take years to get.

trump does do some good things even if they aren’t for the right reasons. Taking out the Iran leader was a good thing, but i don’t think he did it out of the goodness of his heart.

peaceful protest doesn’t always work. violence is most of the time needed to fight a violent regime

we shouldn’t be rushing to save people in other countries right this second if we can’t even afford rent. if it’s possible to help both americans and other people that need help, sure i’m all for it. but we can’t help them properly if we can’t even help ourselves.

To all this, I say the following: you can't let the world piss you off when they call you names, no matter who it is. As someone with a more nuanced mind, you'll be targeted and bullied, laughed at, harassed - you name it. You'll need to focus your inner strength on more important things, because the shitty treatment will never stop so long as you speak as freely as you think, and you need your strength not to wane.

You have the strength already to acknowledge independent thought and difference. Have the strength, then, to recognize that the scorn of the blind is meaningless. ... That is to say, you'll always be dealing with someone who can't see what you see, and it won't matter how well you argue. To that point, there isn't a free thinker out there who isn't rejected on some level. My own family, more blue leaning, calls me brainwashed and laughs at me behind my back - I had to find out through other family members that I'm the hot topic at holiday dinners.

The emotions you feel over the way you're treated are something to use as motivation, something to push you to remember why you are the way you are and something to inspire you to keep fighting - whether to change local policies in education, for example, or anything else - to make the world better for free thinkers, to encourage debate and community, etc. Whatever drives you personally. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You obviously don't have to take any of that advice. But if you heed it, it may well aid you in coping with the isolative nature of being the way we are.
