Which brings us back to the classic wisdom - time is precious, use it wisely. But most of the time, we get so focused on planning and pondering how to use it that we forget how to actually live. We based everything on practicality - that there must be a reason behind every move that we make - failing to recognize that this is our own life. Our own rules. Our own time. And we can spend it on a rose however we like it, simply because we take pleasure in it.

The reason why people with mental illnesses esp. depression and bipolar disorder commit suicide is because in contrary to normal illness like a cough or a fever, you can get rid of these things by eliminating the cause like stress or diet or washing hands. But with mental illness, it's different. YOU are the cause of your own problems and that is a difficult thing to deal with so they result to eliminating the cause -- themselves.

it’s like my life is that ECG line on the machine. So close to being a line. but not quite.
And it’s like that constantly. And everyday I’m trying my best to keep it running. But its so fucking hard.
And once in a while, it happens. My life becomes this line. The flatline.
And I feel like darkness has swallowed me whole. And I’m there.
Lifeless. Struggling. Drowning.

But can I just say that liking you was not an instant thing. I never thought I’d end up liking you. But then again, we all start that way right? But you...you were different. You were subtle. Gentle.
You slowly knocked and took your time. You waited for me to open my door. And once I let you in and I went through yours, we slowly found out that it wasn’t much different from what we had before we met. We saw ourselves in each other. The perfect fit.
You slowly took over my heart..filling it with a warmth that manifests itself as a smile that unconsciously forms on my face whenever I randomly think of you.You didn’t make me feel like I wanted more. You didn’t let me crave your presence and attention. You just made me feel content, secure, happy.
And given the circumstances we are in, I think I have enough to hold on to.

Every once in a while, you meet someone whose soul fits with yours -- your interests coincide with theirs and everything you think about becomes their trail of thought too and sooner or later you begin to wonder why the stars didn’t let you meet a wonderful soul life theirs before and once your little story ends, you are left hanging like the little cliche it was always meant to be.

We were made with the ability to dream and to have passions. To pursue for what we see as meaningful. Life isn’t meant to be lived in black and white. Life was made in technicolor.

Sometimes, a kiss is all we need to suck out the spaces between the cracks of a broken heart.
Sometimes, tears are all we need to wash away the wounds of a bleeding soul.
