Welcome to Gameoverse

I just watched the pilot to Glitch’s newest series,Gameoverse and it was definitely peak. They absolutely nailed the visuals and the premise of jumping between glitching video game worlds. The animation style,the characters(Kit is my newest favorite cartoon crush and Flappers and Gobbles are my favorite characters),the voice acting,the world building,and the high-stakes action is what it so incredible and amazing.

I feel this amplified my love for Glitch Productions more and Glitch and creator,Ross O’ Donavan,crafted a tragic yet hilarious twist on classic video game logic: the heartbreaking reality that when a hero actually wins and beats the game, their entire world is completely annihilated.

The character dynamics are incredibly memorable and the voice cast(including Erica Lindbeck,Arin Hanson,Elsie Lovelock,Michael Cusack,and JSchlatt) did an incredible job at making these characters sound so amazing and cool.

So,after watching the pilot,here is a fully colored tribute drawing I did for Gameoverse featuring our

traumatized,cat-like heroine with Mega Man-like abilities,Kit, her robot sidekick,Kaboodle, a wholesome dinosaur named Gobbles,from an educational children's game try to adapt to a gritty multi-world crisis while still being kind and adorable,and Flappers,who brings the perfect, energetic "Saturday morning cartoon" hero energy to the show,while witnessing the heartbreaking destruction of his home more tragic,along with the villains,Miss Information and Fold.

I hope Glitch would greenlit this show into a full series later this year and make new episodes.

This would have had me crucified on tumblr 10 years ago but maybe we are ready for this conversation now:

If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.
