I'm obsessed with ur writing and wanted to say how much I love reading ur one shots at work on my lunch breake!! <3
Don't know if ur requests are open, but I was wondering if u could write a one shot with Simon and wife reader, that is kinda dark to say the least, where task 141 is on a mission where they need to catch a dangerous terrorist, kinda like makarov, but they discover that said terrorist is readers older brother, reader doesn't know that about her brother tho, now t141 needs to interrogate her, Simon knows that his wife is innocent, but with orders from higher ups Price can't do anything about it
So they take her to a interrogation room (it's ur choice if it's one where they do the tortures or just a regular one), at first Price says that they just need to ask a couple questions to see if she can help them catch one of the bad guys, kinda like when a police officer interrogates someone in a much calmer way, then Price says that its actually her brother they are tryna catch, but what make it even darker is that Simon's wife is heavenly pregnant with their first child, making the team sick to their stomach just imagining having to torture a pregnant lady, Simons' lady
I know it's a very macabre concept lol but I LOVE the tension in these type of scenarios, and I would like it being angst/comfort with a happy ending for reader and Simon cause I hate sad endings and always cry with them :'), but it's your choice whether they have to interrogate her in a rougher way, or even torture her if you feel inspired to
Sorry for the super long request and for any grammar mistakes, english isn't my first language
(Hi, cybermabeljackson! It's so lovely to hear you've been enjoying my stories, and I hope you like this one too! Thank you for this request.)
CW: torture, pregnancy, language
Snow whipped around black vests. Guns gleamed in patches of light amidst the darkness. A group of soldiers moved in one accord at the whispered orders of their Captain.Ā
āWe have received confirmation that Makarovās enforcer for this regionā alias Ricardoā is at the location. It is fortified; weāve counted 27 hostiles not including the mark. Remember, lads: we want him alive, and we want any evidence that could bring Makarov to his knees. Keep coms and cameras on.ā
Exactly ten seconds later, the windows to an old building somewhere in Russia shattered. The men inside yelled and ducked for cover as tiny bombs exploded and filled the atmosphere with smoke and tear gas.Ā
The Taskforce invaded next and swept through the place with their guns drawn. Bullets ripped through the fog, but the force had prepared too well. It wasnāt long before the hostiles were dead or surrendered.Ā
Captain Price left Ghost and Soap to oversee that mess while he hunted down Ricardo. Gaz scouted a few steps ahead of him. Their faces were grim, focused. They silently made their way through shadowy halls till they reached the main office. Price nodded, and Gaz breached it.Ā
Oh, God! Priceās hands shook as he fired into the room and dodged bullets from the enemy. That was a face he hadnāt seen much but would recognize anywhere. Heād first made acquaintance with it years when Simon mentioned heād begun dating a woman. Price wouldnāt lie and say it wasnāt toxic, but out of concern for his man, heād done a background check on her family. The first time he met the owner of that face was at Simonās wedding, where he had to pretend to not know everything about Simonās new brother-in-law. Turns out it was not a pretense considering the man was a terrorist, and Price hadnāt had a clue.Ā
With an ashen face, Price went through the motions of sneaking behind Ricardo and knocking him out with a slam of a gun to his head. Gaz stared frozen at the hardness of the blow.Ā
āI know this hurts, sir. But we need that man alive.ā Gaz's steady voice snapped Price to his senses. Still, his body sagged with the weight of this as he waited for Simon to arrive.
āGreat Christ Almighty!ā Johnny stumbled at the door when he saw Ricardoās identity. He tried to push Ghost away. āMaybe you donāt need to see this, Riley.ā
Simon frowned and pushed past Johnny anyway.Ā
āMy wife is innocent.ā Were the words that flew out of Simonās mouth before he had even processed the scene. āShe didnāt know shite about this, and Iād bet a bullet to my brains on it.ā
āSimon, this would be hard for anyoneā,ā
Simon didnāt tell Price to shut the fuck up, but the flash of rage in his eyes did the job for him.Ā
There was a tense pause. Gaz did the work no one else was capable of at the moment: he bound Ricardo and took him to extraction, while the others stood there, minds racing with the implications of your brother being a war criminal. With a heavy sigh, Price shifted. āSearch the place top to bottom.ā
Soap opened his mouth in your defense himself, but Price held up one hand. āI know sheās innocent, Johnny. But weāre going to need command to be sure beyond a doubt if weāre going to save her.ā
Your hands rested, one on your aching back and one on your large stomach. Fuck you for fucking a giant and getting pregnant with his probably gigantic baby! You were about six weeks away from your due date, and it was getting harder for you to carry about like normal. At least youād soon have your husband there to do his share.Ā
Simon had promised heād do this last mission, then heād be yours and the babyās till several months after they were born. You smiled at the thought of the three of you being a happy family together. Youād been dreaming of this for so long, and it was almost here. Your body almost vibrated with excitement to reunite with Simon and meet your child. You hadnāt even found out their gender, wanting it to be a surprise.Ā
In your joy, it hadnāt occurred to you that anything was wrong when Captain Price asked you to meet him at the base. Sure, mayyybbee a thought prickled at you that something had happened to Simon. But youād quickly pushed that away, telling yourself that Price would have brought you over himself.Ā
Instead, Kyle Garrick kindly smiled by your side, steadying you as you walked down the halls of the base. āDamn, Kyle! Iāve never been this deep inside the military HQ! Couldnāt you have saved this trek for when Iām NOT one sneeze away from popping a baby out?ā
Kyle forced a chuckle while you laughed. There was a sadness in his eyes youād failed to catch as he gazed at you.Ā
You reached the room. It was barely lit, and the walls looked like death. Kyle helped lower you into a chair at a table with a hook in it. Price stood at the other side of the room, and his face was flint. Kyleās large, strong hands bracing your stomach tenderly. You looked around, and his heart ached at your innocent confusion.Ā
āKyle, you brought me all the way to the depths of the base to seat me in a room that looks like it was made to torture war criminals?!ā
Kyleās jaw clenched so hard he could almost taste blood. āGod, Iām so fucking sorry!ā
He forced your hands in front of you and laid them on the table. You half-heartedly resisted. You still didnāt get what was going on, why they were acting so weird all of a sudden.
āKyle, whatās going on? Iām scared. Bring Simon to us.ā You whimpered, trying to lean away from his touch.
Your breathing picked up, and your body trembled for the wrong reasons now. There was a sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach. It boiled with stress, but you tried to calm yourself for the babyās sake.Ā
Kyleās heart broke a bit more. US. You werenāt just asking for your husband but for your babyās father, the baby you were currently heavily pregnant with. And, despite that, Gaz and Captain Price were here to interrogate you., even if it meant using torture. You were their familyāhad been the moment Simon opened his life to youā, and yet, that wasnāt enough to stop what was going to happen next.
It was too warm. Your face was flushed, and your clothes were soaked with sweat. You tried to keep your arms as close to your stomach as possible with the cuffs. You couldnāt understand why John was treating you like this, why he and Kyle questioned you over random shit like you were an enemy agent or something.Ā
You were so fucking tiredā and why wasnāt Simon here yet??
āI donāt know what files youāre talking about.ā You slur, the heat and exhaustion getting to you. āIāve neverā¦ā Your words trail off in nonsensical mumbles.
For the first time, Priceās eyes flickered. Heād hated every atom of his body for doing this to you, especially in your state. But your older bother had claimed you were involved with his criminal activities. And some heavily-coded transcripts and receipts the Taskforce had recovered corroborated his words.Ā
āKyle, get her some waterā donāt spike it.ā He muttered.
A single tear fell from your eyes. āPlease donāt hurt my baby! I donāt know what I did wrong, but please donāt hurt them. Theyāre so small; they donāt deserve to be caught up in this. Please! You can do whatever you want with me instead.ā
You were nearly hysterical when Kyle returned with a glass. Price reluctantly let him uncuff you. It was necessary, but it would only make things worse in a little bit. With no solid intel, Price had been ordered to enhance the interrogation.
Kyle knelt by your feet and murmured gentle words that you didnāt understand but had calmed you down. The tears that rolled down your face were rubbed tenderly by his thumbs.Ā
āDrink water, love. Itās safe. Donāt stress so much. Itāll hurt the baby.ā
A loud crash made you scream and squeeze your eyes shut. Your entire body flinched and retreated into Kyleās side. Price paced by the, chair heād thrown into the wall. āWeāre the ones hurting her baby, Garrick. When we stand before god, heāll damn all our souls for this sin. Simon will never forgive us either.ā
Gaz said nothing. Once again, he did what had to be done and forced your hands back into cuffs. Ā
Ā Johnny raced against the clock to unravel the trail of evidence. He glanced at Simon next to him. Simonās face was as dark as a thundercloud. Simonās finders were still, and his eyes were clearly not focused on the documents in front of him. Johnny counted himself lucky Simon had no inkling of what was going on several floors down. It was Johnnyās job to guard him. If Simon found out Price had his wife and baby down there, all hell wouldāve broken loose; and Soap wasnāt sure he would have been able to stop Simon from killing someone⦠that someone being Priceā and maybe Gaz and Soap himself while he was at it.
Johnās hands had trembled many times; Johnās mind had wavered more than he could count. But Captain Price of the 141 had no such luxury. Captain Price had lived by the motto too doing what needed to be done. Heād dirty his hands so the world could stay clean. But under the veneer of Captain, Johnās hands shook. Theyād never be clean again.Ā
He had started out trying to make his blows light. He avoided hitting anywhere near your stomach. Even when he switched to harsher methods, he kept them lighter than he would other prisoners. āAs if that makes things any better,ā he scoffed to himself. He was still risking the babyā more than that he was still hurting someone who was like a sister to him, a woman he knew was innocent.Ā
āMake it stop!ā You shrieked, straining against your bonds. āPlease! It hurts! God, it hurts!ā Your body convulses with loud sobs. āYouāre going to hurt the baby.ā
āTell us your role in Ricardoās work.ā Price demanded. His voice and experession did not betray him.
āI donāt know, you fucking bastards! Go burn in hell!ā Your pain turns to rage. āYou worthless traitors better sleep with one eye open when SImon finds out what youāve done!ā
āWhat makes you think he doesnāt know?ā Priceās cool voice rattled even Gaz. You froze for one long moment.Ā
āN-No, he w-wouldnāt.ā You whisper weakly. Your eyes waver between them.
āEven he doesnāt believe you. He couldnāt bear to see you.ā Price leaned onto the table and spat, āTell me: how could you betray your husband, your baby, everything you builtā how could you sell us all out like this, you heartless bitch!ā
Something in you shattered at that. You couldnāt hold on when even the person you loved most didnāt trust you. Your face was pale, and all the life left your body. You sank back into your chair, battered and completely broken.Ā
āI did it,ā You whispered. āWhatever it was, I did it. I-Iāll sign the confession. Just, please, donāt hurt my baby.ā
Simonās gaze burned through the screen. āIs this right, Soap? Tell me itās right.ā His rough voice wobbled.Ā
Soapās heart burst with joy. āYou found it, Simon! Sheās innocent. Fuck, we need to hurry!ā
Simonās face darkened, and a cold dread filled his body. His fingers gripped Johnnyās arm like an iron vice. āTell me, MacTavish, why do we fucking have to hurry?ā
Gazās face was streaming with tears as he dragged Price out of that room. āWe have to stop, John. I donāt care. We have to stop.āĀ
Price grunted, his throat closing up. He couldnāt say a word.
Suddenly, yells filled the hallway; and Simon came charging down like a bull. āWHEREāS MY WIFE?ā
He stopped in front of Price and slammed a set of papers into his chest. āSheās innocent, and hereās the damn proof. Now let me see her before I do something that will land you in a grave.ā
Simon didnāt wait for Price to respond before shoving past him.
āSweetheart!ā Simon threw himself at your feet.Ā
āIāll sign the papers. I was wrong. I did it.ā You whimpered incoherently.
āNo, no, no, love! You did nothing wrong. We found the proof. Youāre innocent.ā He hushes you gently, his hands cradling your face.Ā
Your voice cracks. Your face looked numb, but fresh tears fell automatically. āYou didnāt want to see me.ā
Simonās heart cracked.Ā
āPrice said you didnāt believe me. Iām sorry.ā
Simon gripped your chair so hard it got dented with his fingers. āLove, I will always trust you. Please believe me. I didnāt know. I swear.ā
Simonās body bows, wracked with sobs.Ā
You sit still for a few moments. Itās clear youāre struggling to comprehend in your frail state.Ā
āSimon,ā You whisper, reaching for his head in your lap. A whimper escapes your throat as your hands are forced to stop by the chains.
Wiping his tears, Simon sprung to action. āShh, donāt worry about me, love. Iām so fucking sorry. Iām going to get you out, okay.ā
Simon swept you into his arms to carry you out, then froze. His jaw hung open as he slowly looked down as your soaked clothes. You drift out of consciousness in his hold, unaware that your water had broken.
Simon was right by your side when you woke. Your first instinct was to panic and scream, but he held you till you were alright again.
āWhereās the baby?ā Your eyes welled with tears, noticing your empty stomach.Ā
Simonās eyes filled with tears too. Trying to contain himself he walked away.
Before you could breakdown, he returned holding a tiny pink bundle.
āWeāve got a daughter, love. You did so well! Youāre so strong and brave! Iām so damn proud of you, darling.ā
You reached for the little baby, and Simon laid her in your arms.Ā
āSheās alright. Doctor said sheās completely healthy, just premature because ofā¦ā Simon choked and turned his head for a second so you wouldnāt see him crumple.Ā
āYouāll be alright too. Thereās no lasting damage.ā He said when he faced you again. āAnd Iām going to be right here, waiting on you both hand and foot. And Iāll make sure you both get justice for what you went through.āĀ
His jaw unclenched as your hand trails his face.Ā
āThank you for trusting me. I just wanted our daughter to be safe and for you to know Iād never hurt you like that.ā You soften even more as you add,āAnd now our babyās here, and so are you. I guess we get to have our happy family sooner at least.ā
Simon nodded, his jaw working with emotion. āWeāre all here, love. Happy and safe after all.ā
