Today has been a rough day and then I get of work and see this and it's like someone slapped me in the face never will anyone say that in the 1700's Africans came to America for opportunities and a better life might as well say Native Americans asked you to kill them and take their land I swear this country has lost its mind
What if someone you know is drowning while your breathing comfortably? It's not always as simple as asking someone if they are alright. In their eyes you will never understand and you just don't know. The struggles the pain the hurt its so much easier to hide your feelings then to express yourself and be judged. I understand and I deal with it myself. I would rather allow myself to be vulnerable then to have someone I Love think I'm not here for them and that I won't understand. Your not alone in this fight and I promise to fight the good fight one day at a time so you know your not alone. Life is a struggle but it's a beautiful one, though the sun may not always shine when it does its bright and it shines right one you. So this is for anyone who knows what depression feels like don't give up don't ever give up things will get better and the light can shine through all the darkness. If you know someone who suffers from depression tell them you love them try to make them smile you may save their life even if it's just for that day. Please be kind and understand we are not all the same. Something you think is funny can be detrimental to another.
