Hey, just so anyone whose mind isn't rotted by video essayists knows: The anti-LGBT film Lady Ballers produced by the Daily Wire was supposed to be a documentary. The original plan behind the film was that they were going to actually get a bunch of men to dress in drag and enter into women's sports, then record the results.

However, the barrier of entry for trans women to qualify for admission into women's sports proved to be prohibitively high, and they couldn't find any men willing to go the extra mile in undergoing hormone therapy and transitioning to the point they met the criteria for admission.

The Daily Wire accidentally disproved and discredited the entire concept of "men in women's sports", and were forced to turn the film into a shitty piece of comedy fiction instead.

you can report something as sexually explicit in 2 seconds with no burden of proof. if you want to report hate speech you have to go into a submenu and then explain *twice* why it counts as hate speech. you have necessarily created a system where people can easily mass report trans women's selfies as being sexually explicit while at the same time making it incredibly difficult and tedious to report users for calling black people slurs.

serious post but: seeing how quick white queers are willing to throw people of color who are queer (mainly black and brown folks) under the bus while spouting bigoted rhetoric is not only scary but solidarity only exists when it benefits them or makes them look good. tired of seeing trans folks of color be absolutely terrified and scared they'll be exiled from community for even daring to speak their mind or because they sucked as a person in the past. people gotta realize the world wants to kill marginalized folks, especially if they're poc. you either are with us or not.

I think people forget the LGBTQ+ community was literally built from trans women of color and queer folks of color. they helped kickstart everything only to get treated like dirt beneath the pavement(god forbid if you are a trans woman of color too) this has happened to me and my siblings and we are so tired. if you care about us please raise our voices instead of invalidating our experiences while simultaneously using us as a prop for talking points.
