"Klawk?" Rhys echoes, wracking his brains to figure out what the hell a klawk is before he remembers he has a supercomputer in his skull.
Needless to say, this flu's really been taking a lot out of him.
"Those haven't been on Promethea in a while."
Graciously taking the bowl in his hands, Rhys sighs at the warmth that touches his skin through the material. You never really realise how cold you are until something warm is in your vicinity.
"What, did you" -- he turns away, sneezing into his bicep -- "um, did you go off-planet for this?"
As Zer0 speaks, Rhys dips his head, blowing gently at his soup to cool it down.
“Naturally.” Zer0 responded, watching Rhys gently blow on the soup. His arms crossed and he hummed, analyzing his partner’s behavior.
“Would you rather Skag?” His HUD flashing a taunting L0L “I forgot you loved Skag meat. / My apologies.”
Zer0 slowly made his way to lean on the arm of the chair Rhys was sitting on. Sure, he has said to make himself comfortable but it felt almost... wrong. He never let his guard down. Not even in the safety of others.
Still, the assassin let his shoulder’s fall as he just sat listening to the CEO’s sniffles and coughs.
“Rhys, your medicine...” He stared at the tablets sitting on the counter. “You better take it later. Can’t watch you forever.”
He could, he just didn’t want to hear Rhys complain over work piling up.
"You can say I look like shit," Rhys says, bringing a hand up as he does.
"Sorry, my friend Rhys," he starts, counting off each syllable on his fingers. "You look like absolute shit."
A beat.
"Man, I have no idea how you just do that without counting."
Rhys goes to sit on the couch, leaving Zer0 to his own devices in the kitchen. He fully expects to be spoiled-- to have his soup put in a bowl, to have Zer0 offer it to him in gentle hands. Surely he'll take enough pity on him to do it...
"What'd you" -- sniffle -- "make, buddy?"
The Vault Hunter shook his head with a sigh, L0L flashing upon his helmet.
“You get used to it / After a lot of practice / It’s second nature.” Zer0 sighed watching Rhys just leave to sit on the couch. Of course, the man wants him to serve it to him properly.

Grabbing a bowl, the assassin filled the bowl with klawk noodle soup, a dish he heard in passing. Rhys should feel honored, It took Zer0 a lot of time and effort trying to even find the recipe.
“It’s klawk noodle soup.” Zer0 said, walking over to the couch. “I heard it on a mission.” The assassin slowly stretched his arms out, offering the bowl to the CEO. “It took time finding.”

Axton growls, hands bracketing Zer0's waist as he hovers over him.
"I'm trying to be sexy."
Come on-- a beefcake like him, hovering over Zer0 like this? How can he not be sexy? He's even got his shirt off, for chrissakes, and Zer0 loves when he's shirtless!
Axton huffs, biting lightly at Zer0's chin. "Thought you liked it when I loomed all menacingly."
Zer0 bit back a groan as he squirmed under Axton’s touch. Despite this being a normal occurrence for the two, he still couldn’t help but shiver.
“Yes, I do like it / I can’t deny that I don’t / I think I’m bewitched.” His helmet had been thrown off long ago, and yet here he was, talking as if nobody could walk in and see what the assassin looked like.
He trusted Axton to protect his identity.
“I think that is scary / How obsessed I am with you / It could cause my ruin.”

"Zer0..." Rhys sighs, drawing out the "O" sound as he steps back to let him into his home. "You didn't have to."
But then again, there's no other reason Zer0 would come to his little apartment. He's good about keeping work in the workplace-- of course the only reason he's here now is to take care of him.
"Is it homemade?" he asks, sniffling as he shuts the door. His apartment isn't fancy; for all his joking about a CEO having to live in a penthouse, he has a compact 3LDK. It's enough for him, Loaderbot, and Gortys, so Rhys has never thought to change it.
"I can't even smell it. Man, this" -- Rhys coughs into his bicep -- "being sick thing is the worst."
“Of course I had to / You need to have energy / To get back to work.” Zer0 placed the soup in front of Rhys, producing a bright red <3 on his HUD.
With all the times he stuck with Rhys after he got himself roped up into the Vault Hunter’s mission, it was the least he could do. Although, this was the very least he could do.
“I tried cooking, yes / I can’t guarantee it tastes good / Find out for yourself.” Zer0 let out a laugh at the man’s complaining. He could only imagine out terrible human sickness could be, he was almost thankful he couldn’t get sick. Looking at Rhys was enough for him to thank any god out in the universe.
“So I’ve heard it was... / You definitely look it.” Zer0 paused, flashing a bright red :P on his HUD before continuing, “I mean you look sick.”

The Siren huffed out an annoyed breath as she turned to face the Assassin. “We’re outnumbered and outgunned, Zer0. Go find Axton and finish the mission. You’ve got a better shot of getting to him than I do, alright? I’ll hold them off as long as I can.”
Maya briefly thought of the eridium sitting in her pocket waiting to be spent and how Lilith’s powers and insanely grown with just the tiniest amount of it.
She had no doubt she could single-handedly wipe out every foe within several miles, but she has no idea what the side-effects of taking it are. It had stayed in the back of her mind since she had first seen Lilith use it, but she had been too frightened to even try it. Even someone as powerful and used to the Eridium as Lilith had hiccups, what if hers hurt her friends?
No, they weren’t desperate enough for her to risk it yet.
“How about as soon as we find an opening we should both run? Together?” she suggests, knowing the mission at hand was just as important as getting out of there.
The assassin nodded at Maya, showing he understood what she was saying. Zer0 knew there would be more by the time they came back anyways, so what was the point in fighting? Perhaps his ambition was getting to him, making him throw others into danger if it meant he could finish a mission. Something he would have done when he worked alone. But he needed these people more than he was willing to admit.
“I’ll go to Axton/ Just say the word and we’ll run/ ...Be careful, Maya.” The HUD brought out a “:)” of reassurance. Not that she needed any, but she always did point out the bright expressions.
Zer0 gave a nod before quickly reloading his sniper, getting ready to fight alongside Axton. He could only hope Maya’s plan would work out for them.
