It's dangerous to go alone! Take this...
What if some YRZX Characters were in a D&D Party?
Icons were made with Crowesn's Tiefling Maker Picrew

ngl, it would've probably been easier if I just wrote a goddamn fic instead of building five characters.
Late fill for @yrzx-archive's Yiren Disco 2026! Day 3: Co-Op Games
Text version of the Character Cards + elaboration on them + some headcanons of how the characters are as players under the cut!
Cosplay (A Wang Ye-centric Oneshot)
Out at night, he was him. But also, her and them and all the possibilities he knew were unreachable except for this short moment out of time.
đˇď¸: Genderqueer!WY ; Hints at QingYe ; fluff without plot

Well... I say oneshot, but this is actually a part of a longer fic about trans!Wang Ye that'll never see the light of day lolololol
Written for @yrzx-archive's Yiren Disco 2026! Day 1: Night Life
Things are going so normal on AT-5.
Calling all YRZX fans! đŁď¸Â Yiren Disco will be returning this year~

i think because of the whole "writers write for themselves" notion that's becoming increasingly popularized, people forget that we still thrive off interaction and kindness. i write for myself but kudos and comments and bookmarks and really any sort of interaction with my fics genuinely motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing my works.
I finally finished ONE monthly challenge! The Drabble November challenge yippee! Very proud (but it was also super easy to begin with cough)
This is one of my fav entry from the series,
Exactly 100 words. âźď¸
Now onto hopefully finishing my smutptember series cough
Nighttime thoughts
Why tf does he look like a creep here
Oh right, new head canon. His anthem is now Creep by Radio Head bc I said so
âBUT IM A CREEPP, IM A WEIRDOOOâ
I gotta start posting again. My badddd, I just wanna post my midnight thoughts of YRZX, specifically Qing Ye sometimes.
Call it my ⌠uhm Midnight thoughts with Elliot đđ˝đ
Today, I always go back to this thought sometimes but Wang Ye DEFINITELY has the most dangerous 8 supreme skill⌠considering if he doesnât restrain or cultivate properly⌠he could go insane and die like all those before him.
I mean his skill is the hardest to obtain and train in general⌠heâs just an unfortunate and lucky bastard lmfao âşď¸
Yea but I want to write ffs about this concept, Wang Ye going insane? Im not sure really but like a lot inner dialogues, I want to make that for him and how he feels in certain situations. Just kinda exploring his canonical deep fears⌠I should really work on that ff soon (Im just scared Iâll fuck up).
Good night! (Im not going to sleep)
the beauty of quantum immortality đŚ
âwhat happens after i die?â, is a question that has been asked by many throughout the course of history. yet, us humans were never able to find the one true answer to what awaits us once our life in this reality comes to an end. unless...? ;)
this brings forth the concept of quantum immortality, which is a theory stating that our consciousness will continue to experience lifetimes where we are alive, after we âdieâ in this timeline or reality. Hugh Everett was an american physicist, who proposed the very fundamentals of quantum mechanics in his PhD in the 1950âs. he introduced the idea of quantum events leading to the universe branching into several different timelines, where each timeline represents a different outcome. therefore, if we choose to, we can continue to keep experiencing timelines, or realities, where we survive, thus leading us to believe we are âimmortalâ. this is known as the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI).
circa 1980âs, the physicist and cosmologist Max Tegmark delved again into the concept of quantum immortality, suggesting that we actually die many times in our lifetime, however, our consciousness continues to experience timelines where we are alive.
hereâs an analogy of quantum immortality to better help you understand: imagine a person playing a game of russian roulette; hence, the gun leads to different quantum outcomes. - basis the MWI, the gun fires (due to an âupward spinâ in a subatomic particle) in some timelines/realities, killing the person. - while in other timelines/realities, it doesnât fire (due to a âdownward spinâ in a subatomic particle), so the person survives. from the point of view of the person in the experiment, they would only experience the timelines where they survive.
the very fundaments of quantum immortality and reality shifting intertwine with each other when inspected at a closer level. both focus on the existence of an infinite amount of realities, and seeing as we shift realities for every decision taken, even the smallest ones, it can be deduced that we permashift to either an alternate version of our CR, or any other DR after we experience death in this reality. meaning, we can experience whatever it is we desire after death, there are no limitations or set rules.
to answer the question at the beginning, there is no definite answer to where we go after death. given that the magic systems for this reality are the law of assumption and the law of attraction, it can be said that we will shift wherever we believe or assume we go after death, thus, in a way, demonstrating quantum immortality.
a few resources you can explore that discuss quantum immortality are:
Our Mathematical Universe by Max Tegmark
Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku
The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene
Quantum: A Guide for the Perplexed by Jim Al-Khalili
The r/quantumimmortality community on reddit, though note that the users will have differing opinions of the concept, so it is best to conduct your own research.

and idk about you but if 7 people came up to me in real life and said âhey we really liked your writingâ i would just cry on the spot
Hand-to-Hand Combat: It takes more than just âhe punched, she kicked.â
1. Physical Accuracy Leverage & Technique: Real fights arenât just about strength. A smaller fighter can drop a bigger opponent by using balance, angles, and momentum (think judo throws, joint locks, sweeps).
Range Matters: Fights transitionâlong range (kicks), mid-range (punches), close-range (elbows, knees, grappling). Switching ranges is realistic.
Breathing & Fatigue: Real fights gas people out in seconds. Characters donât trade a hundred blows like a Marvel scene. Show them panting, arms heavy, desperate.
Injury Consequences: A single well-landed strike can change everythingâbroken nose, dislocated shoulder, busted knee. Donât have your character eat ten hits and shrug it off unless theyâre superhuman.
2. Sensory Detail Sound: Flesh on flesh is a dull thwack, not a sharp crack. Bone breaks? Wet snap. Breathing becomes ragged, teeth grit, knuckles scrape concrete.
Pain & Body Feedback: A hit to the ribs feels like fire spreading across the chest. Blood fills the mouth metallic, vision blurs after a head strike.
Environment: Walls, tables, gravel, furniture; fighters use whatâs around them. Getting shoved into drywall or a counter is as devastating as a clean punch.
3. Psychological Realism Adrenaline: Tunnel vision, shaky hands, slowed perception, explosive bursts of strength.
Intent: Not every blow is meant to kill. Some fighters try to incapacitate, intimidate, or escape. Make the why of their fighting influence the how.
Fear vs. Training: An untrained brawler swings wild. A trained fighter stays tight, efficient, economical. That contrast alone can tell the reader who they are.
4. Writing Style & Flow Clarity over Chaos: Avoid blow-by-blow play-by-play (âHe punched. She blocked. He ducked.â). Instead, group actions into beats that flow. Example: He lunged, fists hammering wildly; she stepped inside the swing, and jammed an elbow into his ribs. The air rush out of him in a brutal wheeze before he could recover.
Pacing: Keep sentences shorter, sharper, when the fight is intense; mimics adrenaline. Then expand after a takedown, when the moment stretches.
Character Voice: A soldierâs internal narration wonât match a street kidâs. One notices openings and guard drops, the other thinks in scrappy desperation (âHit him before he hits meâ).
5. Things Writers Screw Up (Donât Do This) â Endless choreographed exchanges with no fatigue.
â Ignoring injuries until convenient.
â Making every move clean and elegant. Real fights are messy, clumsy, brutal.\
â Forgetting recovery: sore knuckles, bruises, limps after.
âď¸Â Pro Tip: Watch real sparring or self-defense breakdowns (boxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, BJJ). Youâll see how fights collapse into chaos fast, and how even trained fighters donât look like Hollywood superheroes.
