ixion is currently sprawled out on the couch, fiddling with one of zouin's daggers. the other male is sitting on the floor, leaning against the sofa. he has several documents in his hands that they obtained on a recent mission. the two can hear sounds coming from the other room, but neither of them seem all that concerned, assuming that it is merely their friend.

something that zouin finds frustrating about his dynamic with ixion is how they both view love and tackle relationships differently.

ixion is perfectly fine with sleeping with strangers on a one time only condition ; when he was stable in his own body, he'd sleep with whoever he wanted to, uncaring if it was "befitting of someone of his stature". he never had a real relationship in the way that one would typically think of. honestly, zouin is the only person who has been stable in his life. ixion is a very one night, then goodbye kinda person. getting attached just makes everything more complicated & the faster he is out of there, he won't have to think about what could be but never will be. my man is also a major tease. he finds the pursuing part the most fun. he doesn't like when things are too easy.

meanwhile, zouin needs connection and trust before he even thinks about touching someone with his gloves off, let alone pursuing more intimate relations. whilst he doesn't want to get hurt, he also doesn't want to be the cause of pain for someone else. his darkness scares him, he's afraid of "infecting" someone with it. he is incredibly careful with his feelings. he doesn't throw them around easily. outside of ixion and his rs with yujin, he has never said i love you to anyone. the l word freaks him out. it isn't that he's noncommittal, it is the opposite. if he is to the point where he knows he is wanting to express his feelings openly towards this person, he wants to be certain that he isn't stumbling blindly in the dark. one sided crushes don't happen for him because as soon as he realizes that he's the only one with feelings, he backs off and just straight up disappears to deal with it.

zouin doesn't stop ixion from sleeping around if he really wants to, but there are specific rules in place. it can never happen in zouin's body. it'll never happen in their place of residence. taverns are the best option but sometimes it'll happen elsewhere ( for example, ixion does not care if it's in a forest. when you're turned on, that's that, lol. ). zouin likes it when there's a tavern because you can easily get seperate rooms. should note that it isn't a common occurrence that ixion sleeps around, but it does happen now and then.

in their canon verse that doesn't involve anyone else, the two are annoyingly into each other but both are too stubborn to admit it. ixion doesn't actually sleep around like zouin thinks but ixion purposefully makes it seem like he does. zouin gets jealous ( a character flaw, though i think it's cute... ) and mad ( because why is ixion different ??? why is he allowed to play around with his feelings but anyone else and zouin would force himself to move on as fast as possible ). they're intimate with each other and it's mutual but ixion has way too much fun teasing his partner ( in this case, zouin ).

canon aside, if your muse is only interested in one party, it can be done but it will be complicated. i tend to default to the assumption that your muse likes both of them but if that's not the case, we will have to talk out the dynamic more because it's not always going to be straightforward due to their unique circumstance of being literally attached to each other, that being too far from one another physically harms them both.

when ixion was officially exiled, he was forced to kneel in front of his father whilst they had a large audience of everyone that's important. there was no reason for this outside of wanting to embarrass ixion further. he tried not going, but was found and literally dragged there. trying to avoid the public shaming had nothing to do with his pride. ixion had only just fled from those who held him captive, a group of fanatics supporting his father who had their fun with him. he was in no condition to face his father.
