#said the other say that i think the ssri stuff is probably to do with wanting our depression rate to look lower #but when i followed that to it's logical conclusion that doesn't make sense. bc yes it might look like depression rates are lower on paper #bc of fewer ssri prescriptions. suicide rates will inevitably skyrocket regardless. so there will still be an obvious problem #rfk doesn't care how it looks. the american government doesn't really care about optics rn as far as its treatment of marginalized people #so they're okay with the suicide and hospitalization rates increasing.#it also doesn't take much to figure out why mentally ill people would be on the chopping block lol
