Percy x Sister!reader - Worry too much
Can there be another sister reader x Percy? Maybe the reader is a badass again and gets really hurt but just shrugs it off cause lije you said “acts like it’s her last day” so just carries on as if nothings wrong until Percy speaks up? (Or Nico I don’t mind just thinking of the last one) - Anon 💜
Sitting in the Poseidon cabin, you were in your bathroom in front of the mirror stood with your shirt off as you looked at the bloodied bandage on your side.
Slowly peeling it off, you winced a little and stuck it in your sick as you grabbed a damn cloth and slowly started to clean it.
Everytime you touched the wound you winced a little, bit carried on until it was clean.
Grabbing a fresh gauze, you covered it over then wrapped a new clean bandage around your side before pulling your shirt back on.
Looking at the mess in your sink you shrugged and padded into your room, slipping your shoes on you left the cabin and looked around.
“Will says you haven’t seen him.”
You turned to the doorway to see Nico stood there with his arms across his chest.
“It’s not that bad, your boyfriend may be a great doctor but I know I can handle it.”
With that, you started to walk once more and Nico followed you.
You made your way down to the beach as stood in front of the water.
Nico stood with you, his hands in his pockets as he sighed.
“I was there, it’s bad (Y/N). You may be the daughter of one of the big three, but you’re still mortal like the rest of us.”
“It’s not though, is it? How many medical supplies have you gone through since you came back?”
“That’s what I thought, does percy even know?”
“No, and he doesn’t need to. Don’t get involved Nico, you’re like a brother to me but it’s my business.”
“And when you die who’s business is it?”
You shrugged slightly, turning to face the other demigod.
“If I die then so what? We’re all going to die somehow, you know that.”
“You act like your immortal, like nothing can touch you. It’s worrying, go see Will, if you haven’t I’ll get Chiron and Percy involved.”
With that, you walked away, walking along the water as you aimlessly wondered.
There was a quiet spot you liked, away from everyone. A broken pier where you could just sit, having time to yourself.
That’s where you headed, leaning on your hands, you closed your eyes and listened to the sound of the waves.
It wasn’t long before you heard your name being shouted.
“Damn Percy, shout any louder, maybe Australia can hear you!” You screamed back.
Turning yourself to face the start of the pier, you watched as he stormed over with Chiron, Will and Nico in tow.
“Congratulations, you know what a wound is.” You smirked.
“It isn’t a laughing matter! What about mom huh?! What about me? Dad? What about all your friends here?!”
“You’re overreacting, I’m fine, it’s clean, not infected. Plus don’t call him dad, he’s not our dad. He’s just some asshole god who left us alone.”
Percy sighed and crouched down in front of you, you could see the worry in his eyes.
“You seem to have this complex where it’s you against the world (Y/N), and it’s terrifying. You act so carefree about everything, like you don’t care what happens.”
“Percy, I’ve had my fair share of injuries, it’s fine.”
“Please let us look.” Chiron sighed, “even if you can treat it.”
“Why don’t you just put your hand in the water, it’ll heal it right away, then I won’t need to look.” Will smiled.
“That’s cheating, if I get injured it should heal naturally.”
Everyone sighed and you grinned up at your brother, flicking him on the forehead.
“What’s wrong, gonna miss me?” You teased.
“Of course I am you idiot, you’re my twin, it wouldn’t be the same. Please get seen.” He begged.
You stood up, groaning lightly in pain as you did so and walked your way over to the beach.
You tried to slip though the group but they wouldn’t let you, and they blocked all your exists which made you scowl.
“What’re you going to do, fight us?” Nico asked.
“Everyone, give me a moment to have a word with (Y/N).”
The three demigods shared a look and walked to the side.
You knew there was no escaping a centaur, so you walked over to where the sand met the grass and sat down on the dirt.
Chiron followed, laying himself down in front of you as he crossed his arms across his chest.
“We can’t force you to get treated or checked out, but we all worry for you (Y/N), you act like it’s your last day on earth, like nothing matters and it does. I’ve never met a demigod with such a careless attitude, and it honestly scares me. All I ask is that you let Will have a look, that’s all.”
“With all due respect Chiron, I love you, you’re like a dad to me. But honestly I’m fine, really.”
You turned your head to your brother, watching as he paced up and down, running a hand through his hair while Nico and Will tired to speak to him.
“He’s terrified for you, he’s scared of loosing you. We all are, if you won’t do it for yourself do it for him.”
You sighed and leant down on the grass, staring up at the cloudless sky.
“Can you bring him over?” You asked.
It was quiet for a minute, then Percy was looking down at you.
“Please I’m begging you... get looked at... please...” he whispered, “I don’t wanna loose my sister...”
You smiled slightly and rolled your eyes at him.
“You’re such a worrier Perc, you always worry. You can’t keep worrying for me, I can look after myself, take care of yourself.”
Sitting up, you waved Will over and he ran over to you instantly and showed him your side.
“It’s actually healing really well, but I want you to come see me in a few days.”
Standing up, you stuffed your hands into your pockets and smirked at them all.
“Told you idiots I’m fine, if you worry too much you’ll get grey hairs.”
With that, you walked away and headed to the training grounds. Time to get some extra practice in while you weren’t busy
