And that's the kind of thing they find in each other because it's the type of horror you'll never truly be able to explain.

Their minds and bodies were violated, people killed that they were made to feel responsible for, groomed from a young age and internalized the shame that they were a terrible person.

It is so important for them to have each other.

I love Will going with Lucas to visit Max. He's showing up for his friends, mainly Lucas, in a significant way, demonstrating that he hasn't given up hope yet either. After 1.5 years, I'm sure that means a lot to Lucas. It's in little moments like this that highlight how Will's loyalty and kindness provides comfort to his friends.

reducing byler endgame to one character journey defeats the purpose of it being about both of them. of it being about them struggling to find each other.

requited not for the sake of your happy ending, but for the sake of the actual story.

i could go in forever about how both of them deserve satisfying endings, not just one. it goes both ways, i just speak about like because so much of the byler fandom has become so focused on will that there are some problematic ideas
