then it comes to the logical conclusion of all that, where they ship an almost completely broken game after promising the world and rip people off with straight up false advertising regarding collector’s editions, and most of you are surprised that this happened. Y'all are seriously saying shit like “I can’t believe this once-beloved company would do this….” when they’ve been selling you increasing amounts of mediocrity for almost a decade now and y'all kept asking for more.

but even worse, other fans continue to defend them just because they managed to convince themselves that they actually like(d) FO76. which is fine, but surely it can’t be reasonably denied that this entire thing has been a fucking mess and a total spit in the customers’ faces by Bethesda.

Read deeper into this statement. What it really says is “we’ll keep doing the easiest thing possible so long as we keep making money off of you.” Bethesda should’ve been held accountable years ago, and if they had, Fallout 76 never would’ve happened.

It’s Pete Hines, who is in every Bethesda presentation so it’s hard to believe you don’t know him. He’s the vice president of Bethesda, and head of PR relations and marketing. So he deals with every business oriented thing, while Todd is an executive game director and producer, who doesn’t involve himself much in the corporate side I’m sure.

I would say Pete Hines is more culpable and at fault for the mess regarding refunds of 76, the nylon bag issue of the power armor edition. And So On.

If you want to continue to rag on Todd, at least realize who’s more in charge because it isn’t him. It’s Pete.
