You know it would make way more sense for him to become *something else* instead of becoming a Villain. He could become a journalist and report on crimes uncaring for his own safety. He could have gone to UA anyway and become friends with Shinsou in the general ed department. He could have even become a policeman after all!! Maybe work under Tsukauchi.Why the Fuck is Villain Deku such a popular thing when it would make 0 sense for him to abandon everything he ever believed in just because All Might told him no. Remember when his mom told him she didnt want him to study at UA under All Might anymore? He said “that’s ok, Ill just become a hero in another school”. When All Might told him “no” he still threw himself in danger to save Bakugou of all people. Because that’s the kind of person he is!! He doesnt just give up. But of course people prefer to turn him into a creep just for the sake of ~angst~ than consider this.
