Aziraphale has a snake habitat lil setup in his bookshop but it's frequently empty and his customers are frequently 1) confused and 2) worried there's a snake loose in the shop.
Crowley is minding the shop for a moment and a customer asks him where the snake went. Crowley says, "Oh, he likes to get up and walk around sometimes." This helps nothing.

good omens is literally so good and im in LOVE with how they did the horsemen of the apocalypse. war’s a feral and EXTREMELY attractive woman with fucked up eyeshadow who cries blood when she’s excited, eats cheese sandwiches, and wears red leather jackets. famine is an ardent capitalist and dietician whose latest project consists of ‘foodless food’ and regularly signs autographs with biblical quotes about himself. pollution is a second generation horseman (which is humorous in itself) in addition to being genderless, oozing black slime from various orifices, being surrounded at all times by a tornado of candy wrappers and empty chip bags, and being intensely uncomfortable to be around even when pretending to be human. death’s go-to disguise is a stereotypically intimidating motorcyclist and in his true form looks exactly like a children’s book interpretation of what the grim reaper might look like, and is seen feeding ducks at a park at the end of the book. they all ride tricked out motorcycles instead of horses. i literally love them all so much their design are all so unique and interesting

people who keep shooting down legitamite criticism of the lion king by saying 'let it be a dumb cash grab it's for kids!!!' are so insulting like children deserve new and creative ideas to play around with rather than a soulless remake of a film that came out 25 years ago. they deserve to fall in love with original concepts. children deserve creativity and they deserve art.

To all the people commenting that she’s an accessory to “illegal immigration,” note that seeking asylum is a human right. Countries which refuse asylum are in violation of the Geneva Convention. They get away with this and propagandize complacency towards the victims by using bureaucracy to complicate immigration proceedings. During times of genocide, this is tantamount to hearing a would-be murder victim knocking on your door and locking the deadbolt.
People who risk dying getting smuggled across borders do so out of sheer desperation because the situation they’re leaving is worse. Finally, you are missing the entire point: violation of the law is warranted when the laws violate human rights and criminalize existence. Laws which call immigrants “illegal” are tools of a systemic negligence designed to condemn those who need legal protection the most.

I don’t like the phrase “a cry for help.” I just don’t like how it sounds. When somebody says to me, “I’m thinking about suicide. I have a plan: I just need a reason not to do it,” the last thing I see is helplessness.
I think your depression has been beating you up for years. It’s called you ugly, and stupid, and pathetic, and a failure, for so long that you’ve forgotten that it’s wrong. You don’t see any good in yourself, and you don’t have any hope.
But still here you are: you’ve come over to me, banged on my door and said, “HEY! Staying alive is REALLY HARD right now! Just give me something to fight with! I don’t care if it’s a stick! Give me a stick and I can stay alive!”
How is that helpless? I think that’s incredible. You’re like a marine: trapped for years behind enemy lines. Your gun has been taken away, you’re out of ammo, you’re malnourished, and you’ve probably caught some kind of jungle virus that’s making you hallucinate giant spiders.
And you’re still just going, “GIVE ME A STICK. I’M NOT DYING OUT HERE.” “A cry for help” makes it sound like I’m supposed to take pity on you, but you don’t need my pity. This isn’t pathetic. This is the will to survive. This is how humans lived long enough to become the dominant species.
With NO hope, running on NOTHING, you’re ready to cut through a hundred miles of hostile jungle with nothing but a stick, if that’s what it takes to get to safety.
All I’m doing is handing out sticks.

Every time I see this post I stop to read the whole image. It always helps — even on the good days.
Because it wasn’t weakness. It wasn’t shameful to seek help. It wasn’t pathetic to “cry for help”. I was looking for a stick, be that from myself or from someone else. I was trying to find a way out. I was trying to heal myself.
