Arabic learning event

Hello, lovely people (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

As discussed in this post, I will launch the Arabic learning event starting from July 5th, 2024 insha'Allah starting from the very beginning. I'm so excited!

About the event

**Registration and Course Start Date**

Registration open until 4th July 2024

Course starts on 5th July 2024, insha'Allah

Late joiners can join if they're able to catch up

Join by completing this form

**Course Content**

Focus on Modern Standard Arabic: grammar and vocabulary

Level 0: prerequisite for the beginner course to be released later

Learning objectives: alphabets, ḥarakāt, reading, and writing in Arabic

Some vocabulary will be introduced, but the main objective is to read and write

**Lessons and Homework**

Two lessons per week (containing letters and some grammar info)

Weekly homework submission on Tumblr

Ensure regular submission to avoid piling up

You can ask questions along the way, I'll be happy to help

**Platform and Communication**

Lessons on a separate Tumblr blog for better organization

You will receive a message from the event blog after your registration

Use chats to track progress

Asks related to the course level on the event blog, other asks on the usual blog

**Participation**

Open to all

No need to follow the original blog if you don't want to, but you're welcome of course

You may unfollow the event blog after the course ends

Event blog will host future courses/events

**Course Format and Privacy**

Simple course with fun and engaging lessons

Variety of homework types

Feedback on writing and pronunciation

All submitted homework (documents/audio) will be deleted after feedback, I won't retain anything

No pressure to submit recordings if uncomfortable

I intend to make beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses, insha'Allah

Free course accessible to everyone

Suitable for Muslims learning to read the Quran, Arabs reconnecting with culture, and language enthusiasts

**Final note**

The knowledge I'm sharing in this course and the others is intended as an ongoing charitable act (ṣadaqa ǧāriya) on behalf of the martyrs in Gaza in particular and Palestine in general
