This is def not one of my usual posts out of like the two or so I’ve made but it’s more of a vent post.

So I’m just laying in my bed,scrolling through my fyp on TikTok and I just get hit with the realization that this week for me is my last full week of school before I move into the next grade..(for privacy reasons I will not be saying my age or anything about what grade I’m in)

All the drama I’ve had,the toxic friendships,the days I swore I hated with a burning passion,the teachers who ticked me off sometimes,and the teachers who encouraged me to get better not only at my academic grades but my passion for art and how far I’ve come are not all that bad to me anymore.

Yes,there are some people I wished I hadn’t met or things I hadn’t done,but I know it’s a part of my school life and will later shape me into the young adult I’m going to be soon.

It baffles me how far I’ve come in my life,how much I’ve accomplished but also what I’ve failed to do but tried again to pursue with new vigor.

Believe it or not,but I’ve even considered quitting art altogether multiple times throughout this school year but the few teachers who loved my art and encouraged me to draw things more and be patient with myself kept me going.

This school year truly has been the best,and yes I WILL be bawling my eyes out when it ends and I have to say goodbye to the teachers I loved and even disliked.

It’s a weird thing;you want the school year to end since the first day of school,but on the last week you don’t want any of it to end.

That’s why,if you are still in school,(it doesn’t matter the grade),I highly suggest taking up an opportunity you have but aren’t sure to go after. If you want it,take that chance! I’ve done that for a few things this school year and I’m seriously glad I did.

Do what things you can now,take the opportunities,because you will definitely regret it when you miss the opportunity.
