Foolishness. “What is that word you all love to throw around willy nilly today? A conspiracy?” The Original did his best to grasp popular concepts of the current times in order to blend in easily. The end result never failed leaving Finn annoyed.

“Well actually proves how much you know, I mean you can call me insane but i’ve had more experience with the power of the moon than most people have had in their entire lives.” Liv shrugged, she wasn’t afraid to speak openly or to speak her mind for that matter. “Sure maybe that is a conspiracy but at least I don’t look like some miserable dude who wants to go around claiming everyone else is insane.”

“I’d be more concerned if it was an eclipse.” Jo muttered to herself, gaze briefly rising to the glowing perfect circular disk that was the moon shining in the sky as she pondered Liv’s words carefully. “Despite the obvious werewolf situation, I think that whole crime spike business is a myth.”

“You know you sound like a major buzzkill right?...” she added with a small grin, not that she blamed her but still Kai wasn’t here and they weren’t held back by the coven. Liv just couldn’t understand why her sister was being such a downer. “Maybe.”

“be smart,” he retorted, turning slowly, glancing around them, before shooting her a wink. of course, jude was a little more braver than most, but he wasn’t bound by his coven’s foolish nature anymore, and he wasn’t about to give up the one thing that made him because some vampire said so. “you can only be punished if you’re caught, obviously, not everybody follows the rules in the quarter.”

“Alright you have my attention..-” Liv didn’t like being held down by rules and considering how long she’d spent under the rule of her coven and dad...well she wasn’t against finding a way around everything. “How exactly do you...-do it without getting caught?” A brow was raised.

“not an activist, just bitter about the school I never went to,” jude winked playfully, pulling down the shutters to his shop, wondering why he’d even stopped to humour the woman, but that was his luck, opening up next to a bar. “find the right kind, and they don’t cost a thing,” he hummed, tilting his head to the side, “you are a witch, why not just – use your gifts?”

Liv shrugged at that, she really cared less for the conversation until he brought the whole witch deal up. “I would but you know...I don’t exactly wanna end up dead.” She added raising a brow at such a question.

“You sound like one of those annoying activists, but I can at least agree with you on the last part.” The way people acted tended to come from either fear or misunderstanding, like Marcel she had already figured the first applied since no good leader would isolate two species that could whip his ass into next month if he wasn’t afraid of what either could do. “I get that but sadly I don’t have that much money, so affording the books I wanna read is a little challenging.” Not to mention she was also trying to avoid speaking to her dad or the coven.

 jackson chuckled, shrugging his shoulders, “I don’t know, I only really part shift, either way… but I can do that at any time. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a hybrid or what, but, I only really – sprout claws, bit of fur…” he paused, “it took me a long time to control the two parts of me, but they still fight, more so in the full moon. derek – derek helped me… believe it or not, and peter, I guess.” he chuckled again, licking his lower lip, “it’s hard, but I’m better, you know?”

“I know i’ve said this about a hundred times, but it’s so insanely cool...-” She laughed for a moment, Liv knew her questions were a lot sometimes but she didn’t exactly have a coven to turn to when it came to asking questions about supernatural lore. “Crazy the amount of power the moon has, we were taught all about it from a young age and it was what helped trap my psychotic older brother in a prison world. So that speaks even more for how well you’re doing.” Liv gave a small smile.

“So come on, how does it all work with the full moon and everything?...do you have the choice like hybrids or do you turn like most werewolves?...because honestly what you are still confuses me a little and i’m trying to be helpful.” She added with a smile, she still figured full moons made everyone nuts so honestly werewolves were probably the least of her worries.

“I hear a full moon turns most people insane...-like don’t quote me on it because I did drop out of college but there’s been reports before where they say the most crime happens on a full moon.” She shrugged, she figured it always had some mystical explanation since it was already controlling one species to turn so why not another be made to do insane things.

“You know I might just stay here all night and drink my body weight in tequila, sounds like a good idea huh?” She directed over to the other female, Liv knew it was a full moon and she kinda was just glad she didn’t have any reason to be too involved in it. So drinking for the night was where it was at.

“Sit, i’ll get you some water Jack.” she gave a small smile, heading into the kitchen to fill a glass with water and bring it over to him. “I’m glad, we bitches have to stick together huh?” she added with a playful grin as she held the water out to him.

Hayley was flexible when it came to drinking, but her preference had always leaned towards scotch in particular. It was amusing that the other was accurate in their surmise, prompting the corner of her lips to tug upward ever so slightly. “ – guilty as charged. ”

“You know I gotta say, vodka sucks and this crap is the worst.” she was just being honest but she figured it was cheap enough so that’s why people were eager to buy it. “Don’t tell me you’re more of a bourbon or scotch drinker because I swear half of the people in this city are made from the stuff.”

Seeing Ashley without his emotions didn’t sit right with Natacha, she knew she needed to get him back, but she’d also spotted that ring on his finger, which meant that she wasn’t alone in her love for him. Ultimately, she would make sure whoever stood between them was dealt with, but for now, they could be useful, which meant that Natacha was going to have to do some sleuthing. Having committed her usual act of ‘snatch, eat, erase’, the vampire was ready to start her prying into Ashley’s life, or as she would have to get used to calling him, Dani. Wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth that could have easily passed for the same lipstick on her lips, Natacha knew she was using somebody’s car window and yet, barely cared for who was on the other side.

The car was about the only thing she had left beyond her twin brother and older sister that had any connection to her dad or the coven and as much as she wanted to get rid of it she just didn’t have the money to do it. “You mind?...last thing I wanna have is some girl wiping blood off her lips and using my window for it.” she spoke with ease, she’d learnt to spot who was what for the most part and since vampires had such a free pass when it came to living in the city it wasn’t hard to tell who was one of them.

Finn held no desire strolling about the city and seeing the physical evidence to what his siblings, more importantly what his brother Klaus’ favorite pet prodigy, have done to New Orleans. The streets may have been once beautiful at one point, but that was long before warring species tainted them. “Bloody wastrels.” Finn mumbled to himself, lurking just at a block corner just as a pair of highly intoxicated couple stumbled out of the nearest bar. Nothing irked the Original more than moronic humans.

Miserable people were expected, god she’d worked in some bars but none with such a strange array of customers that she almost was feeling like she couldn’t read people anymore. So taking a well needed break was always welcome. “You know you sound like the most miserable person alive right?”
