>It's a bath?! [Hilbert]<
Hilbert just laughed, his smile widening into a grin. Joltik peered at the girl from under the fabric of the boy’s hood, shivering excitedly. “A swimming suit! Ya know…the clothes you wear to go swim?? Er…” Biting the corner of his lip, he tried to think of a way to explain the article of clothing, or rather somewhat lack of, without sounding weird. “Uhm…wait. If you don’t know what a swimming suit is then why’re you at the pool?!”
Perhaps wherever the girl was from didn’t even have such things. His amber-like eyes surveyed her briefly, taking notice of her clothing and accessories. She did seem a little out of place, or rather out of her time. “Where are you from, by the way?”Â
Mana’s eyes flashed, and widened with more curiosity as she noticed the small creature hiding in his hood. She stared in amazement, before moving her eyes to Hilbert’s face. “Ah…? I don’t think we have something like that…?” She frowned in thought; swimming wasn’t a common thing she was used to; there were pools, sure, but for bathing and some for occasional rituals, cleansing - not something she’d have ever used, but even in the bath, it didn’t matter if it were full or not; it wasn’t like anyone’s naked body bothered anyone else.
“I was exploring. And I just found it odd that the bath was in such a location…? At least there only seems to be one…” She trailed off, obviously thinking on the subject at hand.
She jerked her head up again at his question, eyes wide, “Eh? Egypt! What about you?”
The trainer tilted his head, but nodded in understanding. "Could be that you don't have 'em, or maybe you've just never been to one? We don't have many where I'm from neither. Most people swim in the ocean or in rivers an' stuff." He snickered a little as she referred to the pool as a bath. "Well that makes some sense, but if this is a bath, sure is biggest one I've seen. And coldest! There should be a bath attached to yer room. This is just for swimmin' in!" The boy shivered a bit, feeling a sense of unease washing over him. At least he hoped this wasn't the bath. If it was he wasn't going to be doing any washing up for a while.Â
When Mana's eyes found Joltik, the little spider jumped, burrowing backwards into the fabric a moment before scuttling out onto Hilbert's shoulder, bobbing up and down while watching her curiously.  "Egypt? I've never heard of that before. Is it far away?" Interest sparkled in Hilbert's eyes, and his smile returned. "I'm from a place called Unova. I'm thinkin' it's pretty far from here too."Â
>It's a bath?! [Hilbert]<
Having found something to eat, Hilbert was in a much better mood than he had been earlier. The maze-like setup of this place made him feel sick to his stomach, and he’d unfortunately had a run into a few of the creepier “things” that lurked in dark corners. In a fit of panic, Joltik accidentally fried a few electrical outlets as Hilbert ran through the halls, but that was something better left unmentioned.Â
The chlorine smell from the pool drew Hilbert to the room, and he’d wished he’d packed his shorts. Sucking on his soda straw, he pushed open the door, warm air rushing out past him. “…oh? Seems kinda empty in here.” Glancing around the room, he noticed a girl crouched over the edge of the pool, looking kind of glum. But pools were supposed to be fun!Â
“Hi!” Hilbert took a few light steps towards her, smiling. “Did ya forget to pack a swimming suit too?” Â
“Eh?!” Mana jumped, jerking to a standing position, her body turning to stare down the boy before her. She hadn’t even heard him approach, she had been so focused on the bath before her! Staring at the strange-clad boy, Mana finally let his words sink in.
Swimming suit…? What was that? What kind of strange place was this boy from!? Mana wondered if maybe one day she could see all the places everyone was from! That would be neat!
Returning the smile he had given her, Mana tilted her head, “Swimming suit…? What’s that…?”
Hilbert just laughed, his smile widening into a grin. Joltik peered at the girl from under the fabric of the boy's hood, shivering excitedly. "A swimming suit! Ya know...the clothes you wear to go swim?? Er..." Biting the corner of his lip, he tried to think of a way to explain the article of clothing, or rather somewhat lack of, without sounding weird. Mana had gone back to exploring the hotel again. After making her way back through the lobby, she padded down the hall she hadn’t explored yet. She had yet to really meet anyone else, although she had seen a few people around. She hoped to meet some of them soon.
Her green eyes lit up with curiosity as she spotted a door at the end, and hoping it was safe, she pulled it open, poking her head inside.
A frown found its way onto her face as she took a step inside the room, letting the door fall closed behind her.
It was….a bath?
That was strange. Why would there be a bath in such a public place? Don’t people prefer a little bit of privacy…? And why was it so big? She’d never seen a bath this large before.
Mana walked over to the pool of water and bent down, dipping the ends of her fingers into the water. She frowned a little, seeing the water was kind of…cold. That wouldn’t even be very good bath!
Mana shook her head, and fell back onto her heels, frown still on her lips. This place really was weird….she couldn’t help but wonder what other strange things were here.

"Hi!" Hilbert took a few light steps towards her, smiling. "Did ya forget to pack a swimming suit too?" Â
Psst. It's in room E2! It's a male and really healthy!!
"Eeeh? Really? Maybe I should get the rest of my team put together, just in case it's super strong too!" He quickly devised a plan for battle, and scurried off to E2, with plenty of pokeballs on hand to catch this mysterious new pokemon. "Since it's flying type, Joltik should be able to handle it if we're quick, but I'll bring Emboar too juuuust to make sure~!!"Â
Pssst. There's a Pokemon named Sakuya within the building, you should go catch it. It's rare, a flying type! It has a second evolution when it turns part Psychic too!! Flying/ Psychic sounds nice doesn't it? It might appear human but it can turn into a bird!
"Sa...kuya?" Hilbert repeated the name, his eyes sparkling with interest. "I've never heard of that one before!! I should at least go find it and get some data for Juniper! Thanks for the information!!"
/runs off to find this so called pokemonÂ
If you could choose the other three people you had to have for a roommate, who would they be? why?
"Ah!" Hilbert pondered a moment. "Well, I...haven't really met many other people yet, and I know I would like for Red to stay my roommate for sure, but I dunno who else? I can't really complain..."

“My brothers and I can’t really go on adventures. I’m… unwell you could say.” Himari didn’t feel like getting into detail about her illness or the mess she and her brothers got into. “They get scarier?” She tilted her head to the side once again, something she always did when something interested her.
“I guess Penguin 3’s a friend as well. No one really has penguins as pets.”
“Stuff? She protects me, I suppose. And she can knit. She and my brothers’ penguins help out around the house too. But not all penguins can do that, just our ones.”
Hilbert frowned, his eyes glancing downward a moment. "I'm...sorry to hear that. That really sucks..." Noticing she moved on from the topic, Hilbert thought it better to leave it alone. Obviously it was something that bothered her, and he didn't want to upset her any. "Mhmm! They get to be like...two feet tall, they get less fuzzy and their jaws get bigger..." The trainer spread his arms out to gesture the size of them. Galvantulas genuinely creeped the trainer out, so he made sure to have an Everstone with him at all times when he was training Joltik. As friendly as the little guy was, Hilbert didn't really enjoy the thought of a two-foot spider curling up with him to sleep. Pocket-sized Joltik was perfect as he was.Â
"No? Well if all penguins are as cute as yours, I don't understand why they wouldn't! I bet they're great friends." Smiling, Hilbert nodded in interest as Himari spoke of Penguin 3. "She can knit? Wow! That's really amazing! I'd never have guessed!" He laughed, imagining the tiny bird holding knitting needles. "That's really pretty awesome though. It's always nice to have friends like that who can protect ya as well as do cool things with you too!" Joltik hopped up and down again, springing up to land on Hilbert's shoulder as if in agreement.
"Um, so what brought you to this creepy place?"

“I guess so! I heard Tokyo’s great for shopping too! Is Castelia City the same?” Himari tilted her head again. “A twin? That’s cool! Do you two go on adventures together? I’d love to but..”
Himari shook her head, and stretched her arm to touch the Joltik. “Ah! He’s so soft, nothing like a spider!”
“Spiders are rather scary I guess. But he’s adorable, and there are lots of them, you said?  Do people often take them as pets?” Himari wouldn’t mind having one herself. “And Penguin 3’s quite friendly, she’s very helpful!”
"Ooh really? It does sound a lot like Castelia!" Hilbert nodded, his smile widening at the mention of his sister. "Yeah! She tends to take off without me, but she's a lot of fun to be around. What about your brothers? You could go on adventures with them, couldn't ya?" Tilting his head curiously, he studied Himari's expressions. "Hehe isn't he?" The trainer grinned as his Joltik shook happily as Himari pet him, the jewel-like eyes closing in joy. "Oh? Well these guys get a lot bigger, and get kinda scary looking when they evol- I mean, grow up." At the mention of the word 'pet', Hilbert shook his head quickly. "Oh no no, not as pets. We consider them more like friends or partners!"Â
Hilbert reached out gently to pat Penguin 3's head. "Oh is she? What kind of stuff does she do, if I might ask?"
Just one night [open]
His weary pair of eyes scanned the lobby.
… Eternity.. What was so funny about that..? His sleepiness had to be playing tricks with his mind. He was even too tired to question anything, dragged his exhausted feet towards the reception counter, seeking for an empty room. The capped fellow was given a key with the label F3 by a shadowed person. His eyes couldn’t catch who he talked to and gave him the keys. As soon as he looked from the keys to the receptionist, there was a silent eerie air and the receptionist went missing.
He made his way to the elevator, heed no attention of what’d just happened. His head was full of a cozy bed. He was sure his injured pokemon wanted to go to sleep as well. He wished he’ll remember to drop by the pokemon center to heal his pokemon. Pressing the “UP” button, the trainer grew impatient as seconds went by. Were there many people staying in the hotel..?
He heaved a sigh. The yellow friend sympathised his agitated behaviour. It wasn’t like he walked like his master but he understood the tiredness of what his master was experiencing. Spending a night in a hotel would most likely be good for his master for once, instead of camping out like their usual training routine.
When the elevator was ready, the red trainer moved forward, not looking who or what was ahead, bumping to something.
“Uff!” He frowned as his body collided with someone else. Tilting his cap lower, he muttered an apology and nodded his head a bit, trying to accept the approval from the person in front of him so he could enter the elevator.Â
"Ack! I'm so sorry I wasn't paying any attention..." Hilbert grabbed the lid of his cap, tugging it over his eyes in embarrassment. He'd been so anxious to go to the kitchen he didn't even think to look before exiting the elevator. Sucking in a breath to calm down, he looked up to see just who he'd run into. "I really am sorry, are you okay--"Â
"R-Red?!" He stared in amazement, blinking a couple times to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. Was it really Red? The Legendary Pokemon Master from Kanto? And his equally legendary Pikachu?! No way!!
"I-I...um, wh-what are you doing here?!" Hilbert beamed, unable to keep his excitement under control. The last thing he wanted was to embarrass himself in front Red, but it seemed more than likely that his enthusiasm might get the better of him.

“Hmm, well there are lots of different parts of Japan. There’s Tokyo, which is the busiest city in Japan. And there’s the country of Japan, though that’s quite populated too. I live in between the two, with my brothers. Do you have any siblings?”
When Hilbert brought out a strange white and red ball, Himari thought it was some kind of toy. What would he be doing with that? Himari’s eyes widened in amazement as she saw that it wasn’t a toy, it was some sort of storing device that held a little animal-like thing.
“So Pokémon are animals? I’ve never seen any animals like them! I only have my penguin, Penguin 3.” She pointed to her little blue penguin that stood by her side. “And yes, your… Joltik, is it? It’s adorable! It looks like a mix between a spider and some sort of furry thing… Though, it’s way cuter than a spider!”
"Oh? That sounds really cool! And when I think about it, maybe your Tokyo is kinda like my Castelia City? That's the biggest city I know of! There's so many people there it's like you're swimming in them!" Hilbert grinned, entirely interested in this 'Japan' place. "Siblings?" The trainer nodded before his reply. "I have a twin sister, but we're not that much alike. She's way more adventurous..."Â
Joltik shivered excitedly in Hilbert's hand, hopping up and down a few times as his friend continued the conversation with Himari. "I guess you could say that? These guys are pretty common where I'm from. You can pet him if you want, he's real friendly."
Hilbert's eyes glowed with awe as he noticed Penguin 3. "Oh wow! She's cute too! A...penguin you said? Never seen anything like her!" Instinctively, Hilbert's free hand reached for his Pokedex, but he stopped short before opening it, realising it wouldn't do any good.Â

Himari frowned a little. “It’s a small country with a large population in Asia, near China and Korea.” She had learnt this all in her first year of school! “Haven’t you heard of Japan?”
“And Pokémon? What’s that? I’ve never heard of them before. Are they some sort of food or animal?” She pouted. What was up with all these confusing words all of a sudden? “There are certainly no Pokémon here as far as I’m concerned…” She couldn’t really say since she had no clue as to what they were. And if he wasn’t from Japan, then how did he get here? Most of the people she had come across in the hotel were from Japan, which must’ve meant that the hotel was in Japan. So how did he get here when he was in a complete different country?
"O-oh...No, I haven't!" Hilbert smiled and scratched the back of his head, blushing a little in embarrassment. He hadn't expected that. But he was interested in these new places, certainly. Maybe she could tell him more about them! "W-well, what's it like there?"Â Hilbert stared at the girl in shock at her reply. She didn't know what a Pokemon was? Seriously? What, did she live under a rock?! "....you really don't know what they are?" Hilbert blinked, utterly unable to believe this. "Well, here!" Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a pokeball and tapped the button, releasing a tiny little Joltik into his other hand with a small flash of red light. "This here is a Pokemon! This one's called Joltik! Isn't he really cute?"Â

It had seemed like an awfully long day to the Arclight sibling, he was tired and more so recently from any other day. Was this an aftershock from his comatose state or was it that the hotel was starting to get to him? He wouldn’t know, or probably ever know but it was many thoughts that ran through his head as he would sit by himself at dinner, or during the day.
He would mostly wander throughout the halls in case of catching anyone to speak with or try and at least have any form of human contact; that wasn’t his brother of course! Living, talking and doing everything with one of your siblings could be straining at times and their relationship had felt like it for awhile so III thought it was best to leave his older brother alone during the day—
Even if he didn’t want to do that.
Today had been a pleasant day indeed as he strode out of the library and ready to go up for bed. III couldn’t remember how much time had passed but he knew he had spent an awfully long amount of time in said place.
It was relaxing to him, so why not?
“Hmm. Is anyone else even here?”
Oh, III had met so many new comers in the past few days and for some reason or more so it cheered him right up! He continued down the short corridor to where the front desk was and that was where the duelist spotted the teen who had spoken, a bit loudly mind you.
“Of course there’s someone else here!”
III chuckled, facing the brunette. “It is a hotel after all.”
Hilbert turned around with a little jump, startled by the other boy's sudden appearance. "W-well I s'ppose that would make sense, huh? Haha!" He smiled brightly, turning to face the pink-haired boy all the way. He seemed about his age, which was a relief to the tired trainer.Â
"Are there a lot of people staying here? Doesn't seem like the best place to crash for the night. Kinda creepy, isn't it?" Hilbert's fingers nervously wrapped around the strap of his bag, as if it was anything to protect him. "Doesn't quite feel like a normal hotel should."Â
Th-this isn't the PokeCenter!? [open]
Himari thought a little. She had never heard of Nuvema Town before, or Castelia City. She was hearing a lot about places she had never heard of before lately. “Me? Oh, I’m from Japan!”
“Is Nuvema Town in Japan? You speak it quite fluently. I’ve never been to Nuvema Town, or Castelia City… What are they like?” Himari questioned. She was eager to learn about such places, they seemed rather interesting. Perhaps it would solve the mystery regarding the boy’s clothes too.
"Japan?" Hilbert tilted his head a little, blanking out on the name. He'd never heard of a place referred to as Japan, and it made him instantly curious. "No! Where's that?" Although he hadn't thought about initially, the fact that he could understand the girl perfectly was indeed odd, considering he didn't even recognise where she was from. "And uhm...I don't really know how to describe Nuvema, it's kinda small for a town, and we have a laboratory where Professor studies Pokemon!" He smiled warmly, thinking about home and how much he missed it. But as he spoke, he realised something!
"Wait!!" He looked around, noticing something was missing. "That's weird!! Are there no Pokemon in here?" He honestly was shocked to see that the chandelier on the ceiling was...well, an actual light fixture, and not a Chandelure.Â
Th-this isn't the PokeCenter!? [open]
“H-hello!” Himari said, poking her head around the corner to see a person she’d never seen before wandering around the lobby. She stepped out and cocked her head to the side. “Did you just come here?” She asked.
Himari smiled warmly at the boy. She was happy she got to see so many people today! She just hoped they’d all be her friends, or were as interested in her as she was in them. “I’m Himari,” she started. “What’s your name?”
She moved a little closer, but still keeping her distance. The orange haired girl was afraid he couldn’t hear her as much as he’d like to. His outfit was rather unusual, she had never seen such clothes like his. She was wearing her simple long sleeved shirt and even longer blue skirt.
“Where are you from?”
Hilbert turned towards the voice, shocked that someone actually answered him. "A-ah! Hello!" He smiled happily, relieved he wasn't the only one here. He took a few more steps towards the girl so they could talk easier. "My name's Hilbert. Nice to meet you, Himari!" Grinning, he waved his hand a little. He liked meeting new people, but he was never sure how he should greet each one. She seemed a little shy too, so he took back the thought of putting his hand out to her. "Ah, I'm from Nuvema Town, but I was on my way from Castelia City when I got lost somehow..." It bothered him that he didn't know where he was, but he could figure it out after some sleep. "How about you? Where are you from?"Â

It was raining heavily, and dark besides. He didn't see any other buildings nearby, and so he scurried right over to the doors, sighing with relief as they opened upon contact. Hilbert took a step inside, taking off his cap to shake the water from his hair.
"Brr!!" Hilbert put his hat back on, and as he flicked the water from his jacket and bag, he took a look around the room. This certainly was no PokeCenter, as he'd previously hoped it was. His eyes widened in surprise as he took in his surroundings, only to hear a very scary voice come from seemingly nowhere.Â
“Welcome to Hotel 666. Enjoy your stay, for eternity.”
"Eeeeeh? Eternity...?" He frowned, thinking for a moment. Maybe this was just some new weird haunted house thing someone set up along the road? He hoped so. Nevertheless, the boy shivered both from the cold and from the thought of being trapped in such an eerie place. "W-well...I may as well find a room in this creepy place..." Wrapping his arms about himself, he crept nervously towards the front desk, and just as he was about to ask about a room, the Old Man dropped a key into his hand.Â
"Ah! Well...thanks I guess?" Hilbert shrugged, looking over the key. "F3? That's...so far up." Tired enough already, he was relieved to see an elevator near the desk. Grinning, he walked right on over. As he waited for the elevator to come down for him, he frowned as he noticed no one else seemed to be around. It was late, sure, but not that late.Â
"Hmm. Is anyone else even here?" He questioned, a little loudly hoping someone might hear him.Â
