ZZZ character headcanons part 2
So many of y’all were asking for a part 2, and I think enough new characters have released to warrant this. So here y’all go! I’m gonna try and keep factions together but I doubt everyone will be in release order. I haven’t fully caught up on the main story (I just got to the beginning of the Yunkui Summit storyline) and haven’t done any new story quests besides Trigger and Anby’s, so if anything stated here is confirmed false in canon… shhhhh no it’s not
Pulchra Fellini: has started mixing flame retardant into her fur conditioner specifically because of Burnice and her antics. Is also the go-to fire putter outer every time Burnice has a mishap. Like girl has at least 4 fire extinguishers stashed in spots she remembers and gets some genuine shocked reactions from the rest of the gang whenever she whips one out of like, Steeltusk’s glovebox
Burnice White: can drink even the most heavyset bear Thirens under the table. Girl can hold her alcohol and she holds it well, it’s scary. Sons of Calydon have to second guess themselves constantly trying to figure out if Burnice is drunk or not because she’s always operating at a 10 or higher. No one comes even close to beating her in drinking games, drunk poker nights she’s the richest mf at the table. Makes much more sense why she’s got so many insane drink combos, she mixes drinks with the intent of them tasting/feeling good, not with the intent of keeping your liver in tact
Caesar King: is constantly decorating her prosthetic arm. Unfortunately due to her line of work and how hot the outer ring is, she often sweats/works off any paint or stickers she affixes to it. Soooooo to resolve that problem she’s started etching designs straight into the metal using sharp stones or anything pointy enough nearby that she can use. She’s not good at art so a lot of the etchings look like scribbles to most, but every Sons of Calydon member has carved at least one thing into her arm as a memento. Lucy put a heart, Burnice put a very shittily drawn chibi version of her face, Piper did a lazy smiley face, Lighter signed his name, and Pulchra did a little kitty that Lucy insists looks like a bear more than a cat
Evelyn Chevalier: besides being Astra’s sworn loyal bodyguard, she also does a couple other tasks for Astra. Not anything big that her managers or assistants usually take care of, but more often than not, Evelyn is the one vetting every nice restaurant or bougie shop for Astra to go to, scoping the place out beforehand, asking for recommendations, making sure anything Astra could want will be swiftly taken care of come the time for the popstar herself to make an appearance. She’s totally not doing this to plan more private date nights for the two of them, no way, shut up
Astra Yao: has a lot of pets, not necessarily exotic ones, but she has a lot of pets most people don’t have. I’m talking designer dog and cat breeds, colorful parrots (she has a whole aviary), at least 3 different aquariums with different fish in each, some more uncommon animals like ferrets, sugar gliders, and chameleons. And she cares about each and every one of them, I’m talking she’s named them all, insists she does at least a little bit of her own work in taking care of them (cleaning tanks, feeding, etc.). Anytime any pet of hers dies she’s distraught and inconsolable for awhile. Even if it’s like a single tiny fish that was only gonna live for a few weeks, she still got to love and care for it, and it really takes it out of her when she loses one. Evelyn takes her grief very seriously and helps her plan the most elaborate and meticulous funerals for all of them.
Trigger: thanks to her ether-caused disability, the heightened senses blind people usually have in lieu of their sight is exemplified tenfold for her. Like, Trigger can hear people’s heartbeats, and in particularly quiet areas, the movement of blood and other fluids in people’s bodies. It doesn’t gross her out though, in fact, she mentions it to gross other people out. She’s also scarily good at predicting the weather because of her heightened senses, she can smell and hear a storm coming long before most can. It’s so good that her squad mates go to her for weather intel before a mission as opposed to the weather channel on inter-knot.
Soldier 11 (I know I already did her BUT I played Srank Anby and Trigger’s story quests and those hella retconned what I said for her, so I’m doing it again lmfao): besides having a soft spot for cats and a love of spicy food, another quirk of S11 is that she’s named every robot and android their squad uses for recon and combat. They’re not particularly good names, but they’re better than just having each robot being named a serial number
Seed: I haven’t gotten far enough into the main story + I honestly don’t care for her character much like I do with Grace so this headcanon is gonna be so ass I’m so sorry Seed lovers.

Orphie and Magus: I originally thought Orphie was a dragon thiren, so I’d like to think a lot of people also confuse her for being a dragon. I mean, in a world where elves and onis are commonplace creatures among society, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to assume there’s at least one dragon thiren out there. Unfortunately, Orphie is often labeled as one when she’s not. She gets all nervous about it and tries correcting people on it. Magus thinks it’s hilarious and feeds into it, often yelling out insults or jokes in combat about how she’s gonna dragon rage all over everything. The rest of Obol squad finds it equally as funny.
S rank Anby (I know she’s the same as regular Anby but sue me it’s my post and I get to make another Anby headcanon): I cannot in good faith say that Anby is even a sliver of fashionable, she just wears things she thinks looks cool regardless of how trendy or in season it is. Hilariously though, she’s the one who designed the silver squad uniforms, and I think it shows.
Hugo Vlad: there is a non zero chance that he’s responsible for a lot of the assassinations of high standing rich assholes in the world. There’s also a non zero chance he’s the one that starts the Luigi-simping-esque memes about every “mystery” assassin responsible for taking out shitty billionaires
Vivian Banshee: often coincidentally shops at the same Jfashion stores as Ellen and Corin, which means she encounters both of them frequently and has become fast friends with Corin specifically. She’s also a huge horror movie buff and has to constantly hold herself back from making references all the time
Yixuan: has a guilty pleasure of indulging in the most greasy, unhealthy foods known to man. The kind of stuff that makes your stomach hurt just by looking at it. And she fuckin loves it. She loves every back alley fried food stand, every noodle grill that drowns its toppings in oil, every shitty greasy pizza place. Because she’s so physically active all the time, the food never severely impacts her. She doesn’t even get stomachaches. Of course, her companions and especially Pan heavily disagree with this life choice, so she often has to indulge in secrecy.
Jufufu: competes professionally in yo-yoing competitions, and is good at it. Like I’m talking she’s so good at the hobby she makes up her own moves and tricks that others take years to perfect and master. I wouldn’t be surprised if she also participates in speed cup stacking, Rubiks/puzzle cube solving, drone flight obstacle courses, anything that requires a lot of skill and reaction speed with one’s hands, Fufu probably does it professionally as a side hobby.
Pan Yinhu: has never seen the kung fu panda movies and refuses to out of pure comedic principle the more people compare him to the series. Actually, he’s not a big movie guy in general, he rarely watches tv at all. When not perfecting his dishes or fighting skills, you can almost certainly find him between the winding shelves of a library or a bookstore. He especially loves vintage books, the ones from hundreds of years ago, and loves looking at old diagrams, maps, and other art found in these books.
Ukinami Yuzuha: writes her own music whenever she has downtime. She doesn’t sing, but she produces some pretty good underground EDM stuff under an anonymous name that ends up gaining enough traction to be played at nightclubs. The streaming revenue she receives from it goes into buying the most lavish items for her little tanuki, he deserves nothing less than the best.
Unfortunately I haven’t made it far enough to come up with HCs for the rest of spook shack or anyone else, so those guys will most likely come later once I catch up in the story and maybe also see the beginning of the Angels of Delusion’s plot bc I’ve been waiting so long for their release after their leaks years ago >:3
