Guys, I had like this thought in my head for a while....Like, imagine a scene in S3 where Blitz just... finally opens up about his past as like a final hope to have an actual connection without fearing he'll screw it all up again like so many times....Only to instead be greeted with not disgust, anger, or fear, but with a soft, warm gaze from Stolas.
No smile but definitely a warm look through his own sad eyes. He heads over slowly to him....kneeling down or gazing down at him...either way... he says nothing at first... until he holds his hand...gently....and using his other hand....to gently caress the BURNT side of his face. Accepting his vulnerability with care and such love in his eyes.
Imagine Blitz gazing up...softly, placing his own hand against the one cupping his face, believing that what he's experiencing is not real. Yet it is.
Imagine Stolas just gazing down at him before just softly whispering, only to him, so that HE can hear it clearly.
"You're so beautiful."
And Blitz...upon hearing this....just....stares back in disbelief and then just....cries. Soft, ugly, and silent weeps as he embraces him...and The Owl embraces him in return...holding him.

Her body is growing weaker day by day, malnutrition is stealing her strength, and I stand helpless watching her suffer.

So I've been thinking of something like this... a long while back, but I never properly brought it up, but it kinda resurfaced, and it may sound cringey, but idc. I've been going back to old fandoms, and I ended up thinking out of nowhere...what if Epic the musical and HB were like....a crossover? So you guys know about the classic characters in fairy tales: The Hero, The Damsel, and The Villain?
What if I reversed the roles?
Hero= Damsel
Damsel= Villain
Villain= Hero
That way, the theme could be about how there is always more than what meets the eye?
So... I know, like I'm late to post about this episode. ( I've been a fan during the pilot), but I just noticed something. It's not important, but it's a cute, small thing I like to think about.
You know that infamous: "You're my light/You're my heart"
Well... as romantic as it is, they kind of DO resemble that meaning towards the other. Not just metaphorically but literally.
It's their eyes.
It's there in plain slight. Blitz's eyes are sort of yellow (mainly around the eyes), which is one of the main common colors of light. Artificial like lamps but also natural like the sun. Stolas's eyes, though, are red, which is the common color of a heart.
It could show how they literally see the love they have for each other in the very moment every day. Like they say: "Eyes are the window to the soul."
Which could show how much their love is deep down inside. It brings a spark in their broken souls.
"Only death could rend our love apart."
Indeed.
