Ok, I can't remember much but this would be an older anime. A girl pretends to be a boy and I think it's a boarding school so she has a male roommate. I think there's like a magic element or maybe a spiritual element. I vaguely recall them having a sibling at the school who was sickly? Any ideas? It's driving me crazy.
