Alicent is quite boring to me especially in season two because the writers seem too afraid to do anything substantial with her character and since Helaena is clearly not driven mad by griefā¦ I want to see Alicent kill her children.
Alicent, grief stricken and furious to find Helaena not mourning for Aemondās death. If anything, Helaena merely alludes to the fact she knew it would happen and how Aegon will be king once more.
It causes mother and daughter to argue, to fight. Alicent pushes Helaena, causing her to fall from her window and to her death.
This would then lead into a character arc for Season 4; a season where Alicent has lost all composure and is filled with guilt over the death of her children, haunted by dreams of Helaenaās fall and her faith.
Sheās driven mad.
She believes she must save Aegon; she poisons her eldest son and cradles his body close, muttering broken prayers to The Seven and kissing his forehead, wiping the blood from his nose and mouth with her sleeves.
Mayhaps Jaehaera falls victim to her grandmotherās religious psychosis too.
Disabled members of the fandom see you.
We see the way you make fun of disabled characters.
We see the way you laugh at autonomy being stripped from a person.
We see the way you claim disability is a deserved fate for people you donāt like.
We know exactly how you feel about us, your ableism is on clear display despite how you try to hide it behind hatred for a character, your justifications are merely excuses.
Do not act surprised that disabled people donāt trust you based on how you treat disabled characters.

I think Ty Tennant is a talented actor.
However, I believe he was miscast as Teen!Aegon. He might have once looked similar enough to play a younger version of TGC but no longer at that time.
They just wanted to skip another casting hassle by taking the actor who played TGC's younger version in another film.

Ty Tennant was 18 or younger playing a 13-14 year old Aegon and you think Tom, who was in his late twenties at the time, shouldāve done this instead? Very odd thought, I do love Tom but even I can clearly see he wouldāve never passed as a young lad, Tom looks his age which is not a bad thing.
Fun Fact: Tom based his performance as Aegon off Tyās raw footage. Without Ty we would not have the same Aegon whose mannerisms honestly are what makes him so charming and sets him apart rather than just another brooding male in the franchise. He wouldāve been played much differently and been an entirely different character to the one those two built up together.

its good to be back with a fresh mind and maturity 22 year old me simply did not have.
contrary to popular belief I was never Team Green; my url has always been comedic and due to how often Iād defend Aegonās character from downright wrong theories. I also just really love Tom.
I do believe Aegon is a usurper, in my eyes Rhaenyra is the true ruler because she was named heir and the noble houses bent the knee to her. I prefer to stay neutral on team discourse though, itās never worth the argument.
