Generic HAPPY NEW YEAR art wasn't going to cut it this time. So...I thought, "What better way to end this all/celebrate than to revamp characters from an animation I created during college in early 2013 about a young woman, headspaces, evil shadow entities following you & heavy symbolism? *exhale*

And *then* remix them in a 'fighter vs. final boss round' scenario (to symbolize the new year coming up?)

Y...yeah?

Not the cleanest, but I didn't want to be defeated. We can't let the New Year art tradition (15 years & counting, btw) down. 😅

I probably should (re)upload the original animatic in my archive next so peeps can grasp what's going on a bit more between these two, story wise. You'll love them or hate them. Until then: please enjoy rough draft waifu fighter simulator. 😅

Happy New Year to you all! Make sure to be tactical, use your guard & ukemi (dodges), save your EX power ups for those low HP moments, go complete sicko mode with rage drives/critical finishes/wheels of fates/hadokens if ya have to...and most importantly: survive the boss match of 2023.

(I'll be 100% - I know I will be doing just that if the likes of 2022 ever rears its ugly, well endowed, blue digital face & shadowy, squiggly arms ever again.)

Earth: Gl!tch Version 🌏🏥💉 (swipe for bonus shot) . It's a strong earth. But...the Earth can only take so much.😞 . Not the finalized piece (I'll be uploading another version in a different portfolio) but I just wanted to post a piece of quick art for Earth Day 2020. I wanted to take a different tone for this time~ . STORY TIME: This day 20 years ago is the first time I learned of Earth Day!!! It was a Saturday, I was in 1st grade, & turned to my cartoons on TV while drawing in my notebook (because six year olds.) . But every channel I flipped to was BLANK. . 🚫Nickelodeon: BLANK. 🚫Cartoon Network: BLANK. 🚫Boomerang: BLANK. I soon learned later that day was being observed and those channels wanted kids to go out and play...there was also a special on Nick with Linda Ellerbee showing kids my age on how they want to help the earth. It was very inspirational! I already loved the stars and deemed Earth Day to be something just as cool! But I do have to wonder....after 50 years of the founding of the day, you'd think the earth would be stronger.
