Wade dramatically stepped back as she pushed past him, lifting his hand to his chest and pouting slightly when he realized her gaze was no longer focused on him. His expression quickly returned to a grin, letting the door fall closed as he followed her back into his room. A snort escaped him at her question, moving to his mini fridge and pulling out two bottles of Budweiser and popping off the caps before blindly handing her one – reclaiming his spot on the couch and taking a swig from the bottle before picking Wario out on the character list. “You may think you’re gonna win, but joke’s on you, Hill,” he began, finally glancing over at her. “I have like two friends here, so I spend almost all my time playing this game and I can even beat twelve year olds from China – so you could say I’m a master.”

With a quick thanks, Maria took a long swig of beer before placing it on the floor next to her. She was so excited to play this game; it had been one of her favorites growing up and she hadn't had any time to play it- or any other game- since she had joined the ranks of SHIELD. Maria picked Bowser as her character and as she was deciding on his vehicle, she snorted at Wade's response. "Oh, well excuse me Master Wilson. I didn't realize that I was just a mere padawan compared to your greatness. I'm sure you'll kick my ass and teach me a thing or two." Maria said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. They moved to the map selection and she looked over at him with a smirk. "So are we going big or going home?"

How long had he spent in his room this time – three, maybe four days? At this point he honestly wasn’t sure, but he did know that this video game was slowly seeping into his consciousness. Sure, the player he just happened to be manipulating wasn’t nearly as cool as he was – considering he couldn’t actually die – but it sure as hell was annoying driving off the side of Rainbow Road ever. Damn. Time. Just as Wario was falling off the side and into the never ending space that surrounded the only track he was bad at, and he yelled at his TV, a knocking at his door brought him back to the present. With a frown, he tossed down the wheel and walked towards his door, pulling it open and grinning at the familiar face in front of him. “Maria!” He greeted loudly, leaning against the doorframe. “I’m just kicking some serious ass,” he lied somewhat smoothly, nodding his head back towards his TV. “Wanna join?”

Maria couldn't help but grin back at Wade- she had no idea that he was in this room, let alone on this level. Fury's words rang in her head, 'There's more to Wilson than meets the eye.' He must be something in combat if Fury automatically placed him on this floor... "Good to see it's just you, Wade, I thought someone was hurt and while working on a Saturday night might be Coulson's idea of fun..." She peered into his room and saw the familiar images of Mario Kart flashing on the screen. Her mouth dropped open and she pushed past him, "It isn't... mine. Holy shit- I haven't played this ages!" She sat down on the couch and grabbed a controller. She looked back at him, grinning from ear to ear. "You're going down, Wilson." She quickly backed him out of the track he was clearly losing at and set the game so there would be two players. "You got any beer?"

Laying on her bed and staring up at the ceiling was not the way Maria wanted to spend her Saturday night. With no roommate and hardly anyone answering her texts, she felt truly alone. Since she had been freed from Loki's spell, Maria didn't like to spend any time by herself. If she was left alone for too long, she felt like she was going to go insane. With a heavy sigh, Maria got off of her bed; she would have to go find someone to distract her before things got bad. Grabbing a hoodie off her desk chair, Maria walked out of her room and down the hallway. It was eerily quiet-it didn't seem like anyone was home right now. As she ventured further down the hall, she heard shouts coming from behind one of the doors. Her eyebrows furrowed in concern, was someone hurt? She rapped her knuckles on the door, raising her voice so she could be heard. "Everything alright in there?"

[is sitting in a stairwell tying his shoe when he hears a small noise behind him; speaks without turning around] For future reference, sneaking up on me doesn’t really work.

[blinks] I wasn't sneaking up on you Bucky, just trying to make my way upstairs. Sorry for not startling you, I suppose?

[musing to himself while glancing through the heaps of files on his desk] Well, good to know I may have to transplant an org- [he paused, mouthing the words “loss of limbs” before shutting the file with a soft sigh]

[walks up to the door and knocks on the door-frame with her free hand. Her other hand is covering her upper arm, blood clearly trickling down it. Disgruntled] Hey, sorry but are you the new doctor in charge?

"Stand down or you’ll be working at Burger King tomorrow. Promise.”

I’m glad too. Finally happened too. I’ll be glad to see him too once I get around to seeing people. I’m roommate is Bruce if you know him.

[Alex hugged Maria back, a smile on his face] I’ve missed you. I’ve been around, just haven’t had time to come up for air until recently. You know how it is with all the new recruits starting and all of that.

[pulls away, trying not to smile] Eh, I suppose I've missed you too... I've missed adding cookies to the raiding list, anyways. [grins]

[nods] Yeah, that I can understand. I'm glad you're finally here though. I'm sure Coulson will be glad to see you as well.
