A few bleach hot takes (unpopular opinions maybe):

Ichigo would have been cooked without Urahra in the fight against Aizen. Aizen literally regenerated again and started to evolve again after getting hit by FGT. While Ichigo was losing his powers. Without Urahara's seal Ichigo would have been dead.

Gin is not a good person or a hero. He did everything for revenge not love. If he had done things out of love he would have supported Rangiku, helped her, stayed by her side. Rangiku never wanted revenge on her part. She wanted him to be with her. It shows clearly that revenge will get you nowhere.

There should have been more dire consequences for Rangiku losing part of her soul. Instead she becomes lieutenant (which is an amazing feat). It does suprise Aizen but she is not weak or anything. Sure she might not be able to use bankai, which we don't even know. Also a lot of shinigami cannot use bankai or can never learn it.

Despite Aizen not landing a single hit on Yhwach he still helped a great deal in the fight against Yhwach, Ichigo and later Ishida. I personally think he created a good opening for Ishida by making Yhwach vulnerable for just a moment. Yhwach needed a few minutes to get back and that gave Ishida the perfect opportunity.

People saying that Aizen got away with a clap on the wrist have no idea what sensory deprevaiton and isolation does to someone. Any one besides Aizen would go mad in Muken after a week. Aizen cannot see, hear, feel anything. It is complete darkness for 20,000 years.

A piece drawn in 2024 for Momo Hinamori’s birthday on June 7. It is a Kira Izuru × Hinamori Momo pairing work. I put a lot of effort and emotion into this.

The text in the upper-left corner is lyrics: “枯れ逝く命よ 儚く強く在れ，無慈悲で優しい 時のように。”from the song “《色は匂へど 散りぬるを -Full Version-》

The rough translation is: O life that withers away, be fragile yet unyielding, like time—both merciless and kind.

The background is referenced from a photo of a goldfish inside a jellyfish.

I'm kind of obsessed with any work of fiction that includes time travel or alternate timelines especially with a character who's obsessed with changing a decision they made in the past to the point where they fuck their own timeline beyond recognition and they realize too late that they can't change what has already occurred and they lose everything (<- guy who's normal)
