He is still, so you must practice stillness in your life. He accepts everyone, so you must anchor unconditional love. He is the destroyer - so you must destroy everything false in your life. That's how you meet shiva. Not by fasting, not by begging. Through devotion and surrender. If you want shiva, you must become him. And once you meet him, you won't need anything else.
