I feel like if Fallout as a franchise is going to keep doing the obligatory "find family member/person" plots, then they need to start spicing things up a little.

I want a game where you go out into the wasteland looking for your evil identical twin to put a stop to their diabolical plans, and the entire time people are mistaking you for them and all the dialogue is like: "no, I'm not them, I just look like them. We're identical twins, I'm here to save the wasteland and put an end to this madness!"

But when you finally find your twin, they're already dead… because it turns out YOU actually killed them, swapped identities with them and then erased/altered your own memory to make yourself out to be the victim.

You play the game thinking that you're out here looking for your evil twin, but you were actually the evil twin the entire time. It was never about finding them; it was actually about finding yourself. The game was rigged from the start because, my brother in Christ, YOU'RE the one who rigged it.

honestly the impact of frustration is seriously underestimated. like as an emotion i think it's not seen as intense as anger or despair or even joy or excitement. and yet being frustrated is the quickest route to meltdown. for me at least. there's something about how it's just got nowhere to go that makes it so overwhelming and unpleasant. and it gives you just contradictory responses to the situation can do you keep trying, do you get angry, do you cry and get upset do you throw up like what

My teachers called frustration "a mild term for anger and helplessness combined." Those are not minor feelings on their own, I'm not sure why people speak as though they soften each other when it's more of a coke and mentos situation.
