I'm really just here to answer questions about Ali. Also my knowledge of the dcu and Batman comes from media so if I could have help getting real comics that would be greatly appreciated
Anyway, Ali's whole backstory, long story short, is that she has mutated kryptonian DNA from experimentation by lex luthor. She also has two voice boxes she can control individually at the same time. (result of experiment)
Banshee is more of a rogue vigilante. She doesn't hurt people (often), she screams/wails as a warning for them that something bad is going to happen (hence the name banshee)
She's also Bruce Wayne's bio daughter (three years younger than dick grayson) but that's not too important to this vers of her.
