Tbh I love the trope of that character who’s too proud/shy to admit when they’re not feeling well to their partner, but instead they end up being kind of irritable and cranky. Cue snippy comments and their partner getting really annoyed at them, until they realize the other is sick. Then there’s lots of apologies and cuddling and the sick character quietly admitting how awful they feel…

Just thinking of character A whose nose is being bothered by something, but for reasons they are trying to keep it to themselves, but B over hears and gets curious

"What has you snzing?" B teases, which A flinches at the word.

"Im not- Hh'-" they are cut off by their own nose betraying them. A rubs the itch stubbornly in hopes of getting rid of it.

B cant help but smile, "maybe some fresh air?"

A looks defeated before giving into a snz. "Hh.. huh.. Hk'xshu- 'ekchu.... guh... I think the pollen in the air is the problem..."

💍 wedding snz things 💍

it’s wedding szn (i think, according to my acnh lol) so i wanted to do some wedding snz aesthetics:

💍 with outdoor weddings, no matter what the season, there will be allergy sneezes!!! so i raise you,,, that one person who sneezes constantly throughout the wedding, so much so that the other guests ask if said person is ok and they respond, embarrassed: “oh, it’s just my allergies”

💍 OR, conversely, someone who has a rager headcold and also constantly sneezes, blaming their “allergies”

💍 that person continuously pressing a balled up tissue to their leaking nose while playing it off as emotions running high (the “are you crying?” is met with an enthusiastic “i can’t help it, it’s just so sweet”)

💍 the fear that they’ll sneeze during the *quieter* moments of the ceremony (and the whispered chorus of “bless you”s that follow)

💍 and then due to that fear, they desperately try to stifle every sneeze that comes their way, inevitably leading to that “holy trinity” someone mentioned a few days ago: a silent stifle, a half stifle and finally, because they can’t stifle any longer, a full sneeze that causes their cheeks to flush

💍 all the trips to the restroom, either to blow their nose in peace, adjust their makeup so that their nose doesn’t look as red, or, because they felt a sneeze coming on and consequently decided a restroom would be a better place to let out a volley of otherwise uncontrollable sneezes

someone with a cat allergy being completely clamoured on by said animal. it makes them chuckle at first, and they’re not quite sure where to put their hands because they know they shouldn’t be touching it, but regardless it only takes a few minutes for their nose to start itching.

they scrunch it up and huff a little, a sharp exhale to try and nip the tickle in the bud, but with the cat in such close proximity to their face any attempt at this point they know will be futile.

sighing in defeat, they scoop the animal up by the armpits and extend it out to its owner.

“heyheyhey can you p-hhuuh-leeease take the cat becauseIhaveto—!”

they aren’t able to finish their sentence and instead suck in a sharp breath. With the cat still in their hands they have nothing to cover with, and there’s a split moment of panic that flashes across their face as they try to figure out what they’re going to do.

Thinking fast, they turn their head to the side and pitch into their shoulder. It’s a desperate attempt to try and stifle a series of itchy sneezes by completely crushing their nose until the cats owner finally pulls the animal from their hands.

Without thinking twice their now free hands snap up to their face to cup a final sneeze. They sigh in relief as the small fit ends, but their mistake is realized just a moment too late as the cat dander on their fingers starts to make their nose tingle all over again.

My favorite sneeze moments 🤭🤧

• when I was sleeping with my bf and he started having a sneezing fit in the middle of the night and was apologizing every time he sneezed AND stifled them.

• I was stifling my sneezes in the car while my bf was driving because I didn’t want him to notice too much and then he said “you don’t need to keep stifling them honey ” gosh I almost died right then and there.

• Once, I was pet-sitting my aunt's cat when my boyfriend came over to hang out. The cat was sitting on his lap, and you could just tell something was wrong. He was sniffling and kept rubbing his nose. I asked if he was alright, and just as he was about to answer, he sneezed twice. Then he said, “Yeah, I’m fine,” but he continued to sneeze for the next five minutes. Finally, he said, “Um, yeah, I think I’m—hct’choo! Ugh, sorry, I think I’m allergic to cats.” And yeah I think he might be right!

• once I was making out with my bf and he sneezed three times within the whole make out sesh I was so turned on. 💋

• whenever my bf was sneezing a lot because of allergies he would almost always say “sorry I’m not sick its just allergies again”

• when my boyfriend was having a big sneezing fit (allergies are crazy man) I kept blessing him after each sneeze and after like the 6th sneeze he said “you don’t need to keep blessing me I know I’m sneezing a lot” and I didn’t really listen and kept saying bless you maybe after every other sneeze and I could tell that he was trying to stifle a lot harder than usual probably cause he was getting embarrassed then again he said “seriously you really don’t need to keep blessing me it’s okay” I could tell he was getting a little shy but he’s so cute when he’s like that but I did stop though ugh fuck that made me horny asf

•This has happened many times, but I love it when I'm talking to him and he suddenly says, “Wait, I have to sneeze” before turning away to sneeze. Then says, "Excuse me, what were you saying?" I also love it when I'm handing him something, and he turns around to sneeze before taking what I'm giving him.

there is something deeply, maddeningly intimate about making somebody else sneeze, I feel

particularly if their nose can be stubborn--it's often relatively simple for someone to induce themselves to sneeze, simply focusing on the feeling building and moving their hand with respect to that. inducing on another's nose, by contrast, is sort of like stumbling in the dark, with only cues from the person you're inducing to go on, whether that's verbal confirmation, hitching breaths, shifting facial expression, etc

you have to figure it out--you have to learn what makes them tick, what to take advantage of, and through trial and error work your way to success

it's a learning process, and as you learn, you gain much deeper knowledge of their body, of their nose, of how they respond to certain things, and how to use that to make them do what you want. you're experimenting with what works for them, what works on them.

i wasn't initially thinking in this direction, but it's unironically like sex, isn't it? figuring out what works for them, experimenting with different things, to ultimately induce some kind of release.
