more rwby rock:

yang’s on drums, she loves the energy. Not quite as spastic as nora on them but the same amount of effort, maybe just a little more show-offy flair. Good at improving little drum solos, though sometimes not planned

ruby is an extremely talented guitar player and has her custom painted and decaled electric guitar thats hard to separate from her. Loves to show off like her sister, but fears messing up so she always sticks to the music. Doesn’t want to let anyone down with a couple off beat notes.

originally started off as a sister act between the two, but they quickly realized they would have to flesh out their band to get the sound they wanted

blake is a transfer student from the other side of town, and after much pestering, yang convinces her to join. Plays bass, and has a lot of experience. Used to belong to the infamous band The White Fang, and after they disbanded over ‘creative differences’ she decided to switch schools and move on.

weiss was the queen of the choir, extremely classically trained in opera singing and the like. Ruby catches her singing one day and is convinced that her voice is the missing piece to the puzzle of their sound. weiss is of course stubborn until she hears the group preform and is curious about what she could do if she went in a different direction. She decided to give it a shot and has been trying to convert her voice to pop singing with the help of the team ever since.

Penny is one of ruby’s few friends, and also team rwby’s biggest fan. Overly supportive to a fault, shes been to every performance and even makes posters and stuff. little do they know that shes actually super talented herself, but she never mentions it.

Not gonna lie, I watched The Water not because of englot (partly that) but mostly I wanna see if there will be more Xona interactions.

Unfortunately, it did not. It's nice that xona and other mgi beauty queens get their spot lights too though.

Hoping that Xona will have a project together! Nothing spicy, even romcom/fluff is enough 😭🙏

Went to Hell for work; brought back a wife

Sketched this out after finishing the Hell's Paradise manga a few months ago. Didn't really like how this drawing was going and abandoned it; recently reopened and finished it. I think I needed to level up my hair drawing skills because these two ladies have complicated hair. Don't know what compelled me to render the hair line-by-line, and I don't know what compelled me to then do it 5 more times, but my wrist was on fire after.

I think I'm going to really like Mafai and Greece's dynamic where Greece is the baddest bitch to ever exist, cool, classy, self-assured and everybody, including Mafai herself, is wondering HOW off-line, math supergenius, illegal gambling dealer Maifai managed to pull someone who is absolutely nothing like her. And Maifai gets self-conscious about it, and is wondering indeed why would Greece love her, and it really gets into her head

While Greece is just absolutely BAFFLED whenever someone brings up the fact that they don't look well-suited at first glance because it never ever crossed her mind even once. She's just like ''what do you mean ? We're literally soulmates ? Like...What do we have in common ? Hum...Maybe love ? Have you heard about that ? Love ? We are relationship goals ! Obviously''

I’m hoping for a crossover in this year’s Star Detective PreCure. Crayon Shin-chan appeared in Wonderful PreCure, but they might both be animated by Toei, and I think Detective Conan is linked to the same company that animate Pokémon. Although if that’s the case, then why haven’t we had a Pokémon and Detective Conan crossover…?
