So for those of you who don't know, there was a march today in France (07.03.2021) led by radfems, prostitution survivors and abolitionists. The aim of that march was to denounce prostitution as violence against women.

The women of the march were physically and verbally assaulted by protestors. Graffitis were made saying "help a trans person, kill a terf". They hit women, tore down their signs, threw eggs at them.

If I hadn't already peaked, watching a bunch of TRAs and "queers" throwing eggs at Marguerite Stern and prostitution survivors from behind a trans flag - and laughing gleefully when one hit its mark - would've done the trick.

I'm at utter loss for words. Imagine hating women that much. Imagine physically grabbing and hurting women because they are fighting back against a form of their oppression. Imagine hating prostitution survivors who bravely speak out. (Bet these are the same people who keep shouting "listen to sex workers11!!11")

I am so angry I can barely put it in words. Fuck these people. I support Marguerite and every brave woman who was out there today. They deserve the goddamn world.

y’all, i know most mommy bloggers are usually absolutely vile, and the “wine o’clock” culture is so annoying, but really think about it: why don’t we talk about how alarming it is that mothers feel the need to constantly talk about wine, drink wine, buy trinkets that have quirky sayings about wine, and yet no one is concerned that maybe patriarchal marriage structures are contributing to alcoholism in women? why is it that, if a mommy blogger says she takes shots of tequila to get through her day it would be alarming, but having a wine tumbler that says “mommy juice” or “i wine because my kids whine” (a real thing i have seen online for purchase) isn’t… scary?

i just think we need to have conversations about how the structure of modern motherhood and marriage is maybe super harmful for women? and maybe one solution is to normalize men taking more responsibility in the home and as parents. this goes along with useless husband “jokes” where women chuckle over a bottle or two of wine (!!!) about how their husbands are so clueless and helpless. normalize husbands doing the cooking and dishes. normalize husbands taking part time work in order to care for the kids. it’s not about shifting power from husband to wife, it’s about deconstructing the need for power in the first place.

The answer is NO. These children will be taken from their parents and left to the mercy of the foster care system, an institution known for being a hellish environment to grow up in. They will be at risk for sex trafficking, as many children in foster care often are. I mean, Children ALWAYS know what’s best for themselves, right? But hey, as long as John is referred to as “they” and not “he”, what else could matter?

I’ve worked in child protection and I’ve already seen cases where parents were threatened with having their kids taken if they don’t give them blockers and hormones. Child protection is a government agency, this is state sanctioned forced transition.
